Player Review

81 - Rare
4.0
Richarlison
By matteoGoat, 06-10-2020

Here we are, another year, another Richarlison review.

I did my first and only review of Fifa 20 almost at the end of the game just to praise how good TOTS Richarlison was.

Now i'm back and i'll bring you reviews on the regular for this Fifa 21.

I personally don't think this card deserves a long review, what you see is what you get.

I picked him up for 39k with hunter just to make sure he doesn't lack pace and well, it was a good call (I also do think engine suits him very nicely).

I won all my placement games and i'm currently in Division 2. I played 42 games in order to give you the most complete review possible.

Let's now talk about every aspect of the card:

PACE: Even after applying Hunter you can tell he is not Mbappe but he does a very decent job. I don't think pace matters as much as last year: If your striker makes a run he is pretty unstoppable but if he doesn't you ain't gonna get past anybody in this game.

SHOOTING: Now we are talking. He is really consistent, he offers you that 5 star weak foot and he can finish in every sort of way (Yes, you can also score headers). Regarding the 5 star weak foot, i do think it's not as important as in Fifa 20 (i've been using Rashford and his 4 star weak foot is literally perfect, he just doesn't miss).

PASSING: Just basic, the short passing is decent and the long passing is not the best. As of right now you can tell who is a good passer in this game and who isn't.

DRIBBLING: Like i said in the pace/shooting part something is different this year, at least for me. Agility and balance feel not that important. I can't say much about his dribbling since it is extremely difficult to get past defenders (i don't know if this is caused by the high division i'm in or if dribbling is just bad).

DEFENDING: Nothing to say.

PHYSICALITY: Stamina is really good for a starter striker and his strenght is acceptable.

OVERALL: Really enjoyable and fun to use but don't get too hyped. He will be good until the end of October then you must move past him.

Personal thoughts: If you have the coins just skip him and go straight to Martial/Aubameyang and maybe even Gabriel Jesus since the 4 star weak foot is more than enough, at least at this stage of the game. An eventual +3 inform in a short team period would be extremely good.

Disclaimer: The goal ratio is high because every fifa 21 game ends with 10 goals.

  • shooting
  • decent pace
  • great links
  • stamina
  • passing is not the best
  • in another league he would be 10k

The defenders cant stop him. what i am trying to say is that he is fastShooting - h...

The Pigeon

So I packed this guy right at the start of the promo in my 87+x3 that I saved for a few days and decided to test him right away in a few rivals matches. He began to bang hat-trick after hat-trick and I fell in love after just 5 or 6 games, this card can finish from anywhere in the box with both feet, his AI runs are perfect as he is always in the right position in rebounds and crosses, sometimes he even goes for in behind r...

Richarlison - Two Footed Beast

His FIFA 20 TOTS card was the best striker in the game and his 21 version follows right where he left off. He fits the initial meta well in that he is strong, uncontainable in the box (especially with Sniper) but also strong in the air if you're good at crossing. He isn't a shifty dribbler, but you don't need him to be. Surround him with agile wingers, and a good CAM or strike partner and he will deliver time and time again...
