Old But Gold? Franck Ribery Review

So Ribery in Fifa 21 only 81 overall with 74 pace so must be awful right? Well, you would be surprised. I traded to make a nice Serie A side with a BvB back 2 and GK so it was a very strong starting team. I moved Mkhitarian into CAM as I love that 5* weak foot and I was bitterly disappointed so I brought on Ribery and I got the shock of my life 3 Goals in 5 minutes. With his height and agility and for an early game player he feels untouchable and the most important thing for a CAM this year, the through balls were magnificent. The surprise for me was he did not feel that slow on the ball which was rather odd. If I could compare it to something it would be an Enganche and for anyone who does not know what that is, think of prime Ozil pulling the strings. In the 4-1-2-1-2 (2) it was beautiful just get him the ball and either play the forwards through or the LCM/RCM for me that's Hakimi and Gosens (GET THEM BOTH). As a late runner, he will always finish anything he gets in space. The only issues you may have in the pace in 50/50s, stamina feels poor after 60 minutes and also his height for headers.

Expensive but worth it

He's for sure expensive but I can tell you that if you have the coins to the sbc and want him to play than do him. He is and feels like a high end player. Probably very similar with Neymar but if you like Ribery go for him.

What a player

At first, I was a little skeptical about the price and the good but not amazing stats. Still, I completed him due to his nostalgic and personal importance to me. Let me tell you... I do not regret it. This man is so bloody beautiful in term of play style and looks ;). He moves so nicely and elegantly, and his pass is so inch perfect he just makes me happy to play the game.
