So I have now played 115 games with Jamie Vardy after packing in untradeable and firstly; what an amazing striker for this year's fifa where the most important trait is SPEED and finishing alone with the keeper after getting away from defenders. Packed him untradeable and he went straight into my team as a lone striker playing 4231, with a hunter chem. He does much of what he does in real life and that fits the meta perfectly. His AI runs are amazing, I set him to drift wide and get in behind and it becomes a joy to play fifa. Because of his high attacking work rate and positioning he just gets away all the time! Funny thing is after playing him for 50 games I packed baby R9(!) in an icons base swap pack and because, well,... R9!, Vardy had to be move to CAM and CM for while. So, I was so hyped to have R9 in my team but I have to say I was let down. In this year's fifa Vardy just is a better lone striker than R9, even though on paper R9 is faster and better at most things, it's just not true in game! After playing a lot of games with baby R9 as my striker and testing a range of different formations and chem styles with him - because of the lower work rates he just didn't make the same runs and his his finishing was not as clinical as Vardy's. Sooo, I switched back and let Vardy get his lone striker position back and made R9 my CAM and this is just way better. Vardy keeps banging them in, don't finesse finish with him, just get away from defenders, aim for the far corner and BOOM it's a goal, every single time. At this stage of FIFA I have stopped chasing SBC's, I am just enjoying the game and I am happy with my squad now, so Vardy is staying there unless I randomly pack something spectacular. (He has scored 115 goals in 115 games which is quite low, the reason that this is not higher is that I used him as a CM and CAM to make room for R9).

Aggression (he works fell with high pressure and wins the ball back often)
Stamina, lasts 90 minutes, non stop runs

He is not a skill dribbler, so you should have someone with good passing to feed him through balls
Long shots, but that doesn't work this year anyway :P

OMG! I packed this guy from an 80+ PP as soon as Prem TOTS was released and wow just wow. The card says 3 star week foot. Yeah that's a lie. With 99 finishing everything goes in inside the box. Quite good

I packed him in an untradeable Division Rivals pack and honestly, I wasn't very excited as I'm not a fan of 3*3* players. However, as it was then worth more than 80k I decided to give it a try.
