Last Thursday I bought baby icon zola. I was looking for a player who is not represented too often (like Rashford IF) so i emptied my club to afford zola. 30 WL games later im so happy i got him it brings fun back into the game and i feel way better and relaxed when i play.

Ingame I played 442 with Zola and Ansu Fati in front, Salah on the left and dembele on the right.

i could well imagine zola doing work as a cam but he is indispensable for me as a striker

I have to say that zola is a real machine. He is very agile, fast and has a very good finish which has saved me several times.

All games in div 1 rivals.

Oh. My. God. This card is something else. Picked him up on a bid for about 700k on xbox so I ended up getting a pretty good deal with him. Sadly I was icon trading so I couldn't keep him for long. My god, this card is one of the best cards I have used in fut. The main reason is his body type is like a better Messi. So shifty on the ball and with the finesse shot trait, he can turn around and bang it in the top corner. The only issue is he is so weak, gets pushed off the ball super easily. Not really an issue for me based on my play style but it could be a problem for others. Some people might not have 700-800k to spend on one player, but if you do he is such a value card. I think he should be over 1.5m.

So i was lucky enough to pack him in my Base-Icon Swap Pack and boy i didnt new what was coming for me. This guy is truly insane. Im an ok-ish player i would say and played him in 11 Games in Div 3 so far. He scored 23 Goals and set up 6 as ST in a 442/4222 with Hawk. I never managed to get such numbers with another player, he makes it so easy to score goals!

On top of that, he is creating many open spaces for my other players because he needs to always be marked by a defender.

He does very much feels like Messi with that little extra kick like the other guys have written. If you're looking for this type of player, you will be definetly happy with Zola!

Alright so I'm quite late to use this card, but that's fine, I wanted to use this card because he is a Chelsea legend, but he also has very nice stats, so I jump in a game not expecting a massive amount from Zola, but jesus christ this guys shooting is unbelievable, banging them in top corner from way outside of the box like it's nothing, his finesse shots are overpowered.

His pace is very very good too, I played a hunter on Zola and he is rapid, hunter is probably my recommended chem style as his dribbling is already good, and his other stats aren't awful.

Zola also has very very good dribbling, and feels very good on the ball (Doesn't feel like a truck when turning). For a CF/ST player his passing is actually pretty good, I haven't had any issues with him passing wise (probably because I play him at striker) so I think his passing is fairly good.

His stamina is meh, it's not great but it's not awful, he can always be subbed off/on.

Allow me to summarise the review I just released on YT (Shameless Plug ik...)

I have used Base Zola for many months now and after 300+ games, I can assure you that he is still very, very useable. Zola excels across the front line. RAM,CAM,LAM,CF and ST.

85 Zola brings responsive, sharp and meaningful movement to your attack. Through ball? Yep, Zola's already gotten in behind the defensive line and controlled it with ease. Now he's 1 on 1 with the GK... now this is where he goes from being an excellent player to being a GAME CHANGER.

It all comes down to one trait.... Finesse Shot.... oooooh boyyyy. If you don't believe traits can make or break a card in Fifa 21, give Zola a shot and he'll show you why traits are so important in this game. Speaking of important attributes, that leads me onto speaking about his body type.

Short & Lean- / For those of you who don't pay attention to body types, its the same body type as Iniesta, Garrincha, Ribery and Alejandro Gomez. (Just to name a few.) This body type allows Zola to be explosive out of turns and skill moves. His acceleration is so quick that you can get in behind defences, with ease. And, exit tight turns with lightening speed. Oh and 83 Stamina? As long as you are not using him box to box, it has never been an issue for me.
