This review is a bid odd but hear me out. Thiago while he doesn't exactly fit the meta to fifa 21 thiago is himself a part of the meta. He's insane for me. I picked thiago up early on in the game looking for a box to box cm who could control the passing tempo and game for me. He did that role well however then I switched formations and got more defensive midfielders to help me in defending (not thiago's strongsuit). I got kante and emre can. Thiago couldn't however be left out because he is a very integral part of my playstyle so I put him as a right striker in a 442 with the instructions of False Nine, meaning he would drop back and find space between the opponents defenders and midfielders: a role perfect for this type of card. Since then, thiago and Mbappe are the partnership of dreams. Thiago has amazing agility, ball control and a passing. He turns on a dime and can slot mbappe in on a run, dink the ball over head or turn the defenders inside out himself with the 5* skills. I run thiago with MAESTRO and he's contributed massively since i put him at striker duo with mbappe. He provides 2-3 assists per game to mbappe who scores with ease. Insane card if you can utilize his specialties. He helped me get to div 2 on rivals and im a very average player. Thiago is one of my favorite players this year and i'll probably keep him in my team the whole year he's that much fun.

The Best Midfielder In The Game

Thiago Alcantara, one of the best midfielders in the world, and certainly one of the best to watch. Throughout my life I've loved watching him, so when Liverpool (my club) were linked with him, i was ecstatic. So when we finally signed him from Munich, the only logical move was to build my UT around him for the rest of the year. To say I'm not disappointed by my choice is an understatement. I named my club CANTHIAGOKARIUS, so there was no going back, I bought him for 7k when I got fifa and hit the ground running, I've since upgraded to his OTW in hope he one day gets a TOTW. Overall, you know what you should be getting from Thiago, a great dribbler and passer, he isn't going to out pace Mbappe, but when you need a through ball for a clear 1v1, he's your man. He's probably the best passer I've ever played with, the passes he pulls off are insane. Then there's his 5* skills and insane dribbling, not much you can say other than perfect. Although his shooting and defending stats don't seem great, they are fine, hell easily finish most chances you give him, and his long lunges allow him to nick the ball off any player. Overall, he's absolutely insane as long as your fine playing with a non pacey/ not meta player.
