I dont understand how he is still so cheap, know he will be 87. Upamecano is almost 200k but has worst stats...

Pace and physicality. Alaba is somewhat weak for a CB, plus he's not really fast. Even if he gets a +3 in pace, he will still be slower than some of the other most used CBs in the game.

Upa is more expensive, because he's guaranteed a +1 (bayern flies through bundesliga) and because he has more potential to be sick. Alaba is actually more suited to a CDM role than a proper CB
