Well where to start? Maybe the Copa America outing? Yes that seems like the most perfectly logical place to start.
Our very much English Big Brereton travelled to South America to compete in the Copa America & he returned as Big Ben Brereton-Diaz
Being a Lifelong Blackburn Rovers fan I have seen some players grace the hallowed turf of Ewood Park, but to recent memory I haven't seen anyone's fortunes of late change for the better as well as our Diaz's. From struggling to play in the first 2 seasons at Ewood to being the main focal point of Tony Mowbray's wide striker regime. The form he has showed since Armstrong's departure to Southampton has been nothing short of biblical.
Obviously as soon as this card was rumoured I had to get him involved, linking him into a 4-5-1 formation with a Chilean LB I have never heard of before going by the name of Eugenio Mena & of course the FIFA Stalwart that is Arturo Vidal & then a generic Serie A team around. However the key in this was changing my formation in-game to 4-2-3-1 with our Big Ben Brereton Diaz being the big man up top. & with Paulo Dyabala linking in behind in the number 10 central CAM role & Mertens & Chiesa as the wide men.
Being 6ft 2 & habiting blistering pace, I opted for the FINISHER Chemistry Style, boosting his shooting & dribbling, making him at 85 rated striker in-game! Let me repeat that for those at the back,
AN 85 RATED STRIKER IN GAME THAT PLAYS FOR MY BLACKBURN ROVERS
I haven't seen any action like this for my club since of course Armstrong's 'What If?' card but previously it was Yakubu's 82 rated tank. EA loves the Rovers & you absolutely love to see it.
However back to this card, what an actual monster of a card we have here. In the right hands he is absolutely lethal in front of goal, scoring all types of goals you'd want for a striker that would cost 50k+ never mind back pocket 9700 coins. He can finesse & hit long strikes right in to the top stanchions, I can't urge you all enough to try this card & tearing defences apart. Only managed to get 5 games in on Rivals but scoring 10 goals in 5 games, I can't wait to see where me & Mr Diaz can get to
