Some would say the price is too high, but if you have played Rivals or Champs and have some untradeable fodder then its worth it. If you compare him and baby Gullit they are basically the same. Maybe Fofana is better. He is very good even with 7 chem. Very recommended.

FoGOATana that's the name he deserved.
I was struggling to get into the elite division and was currently not really happy about my midfielders (88Petit and 87 Beckham) and then I saw this guy, and it was love at the first sight.
So I immediately sold my Beckham and done de SBC for him, it only costs my about 40k and that is a bargain for this beauty.
So lets start with the review, i used Shadow chem style on him because in my 4-4-2 I want that both midfielders can defend just like 85/88 Seedorf, 85 Essien, Llorente and so on.
FoGOATana outplayed them all, surely he does not score a crazy finess shot goal in every game like Beckham did, but he can do everything else. He plays like he’s the child of 85 Seedorf and Kante without 4star skillmoves.
Postitioning: He covers the hole field, really he’s literally everywhere. Offensively and defensively, he just make so good runs, he’s always there where I want him to be.
Passing: His passing ability is great and all you want for a CM or a CDM, long, short, high or low it doesn't matter he will deliver the ball where you wanted him.
Shooting: This guy scores some unbelievable bangers for me. I mean I have 88 Petit for like 150 games, and he only scores me 5 goals, this guy scores 5 out of 10. So guys if you have room to shoot than do it, he will not let you down.
Dribbling: is not amazing but still excellent and better than Seedorf.
Defending: just like Kante but bigger, I can’t remember that he lost one single 1vs1. The fact he is nearly unbeatabe in 1vs1 compared with his good positioning you can’t get past him. This guy literally eats peoble spits them out and eats them again and again.
Heading it’s one of the few cons, he definatly should win more headers than he does.
Overall:
This guy will stay in my team until I can afford Gullit or something like that because I really love you FoGOATana, and he does the job you want him to do. BTW I use him as my more attacking CM, so he’s the one who not get stay back while attacking.

The main reason I am making this review is because of how much this card shocked me. He really does play aswell as his card looks and definitely held his weight in the team. Of course when using a well-rounded team he will perform better but the best way to put it was it felt like I had an extra Kante in my team that could attack. He's better than a few Icon's I have used (namely Ballack 89 and Seedorf 85) and I would say is a must-do if you can afford the likes of Mbappe/Neymar as sadly they are some of the only good links.

Fofana is the best CM in the game. He pops up everywhere and scores way more goals than you would expect from someone with 76 finishing. His long shots are nuts, he wins headers and never tires. Positioning is top notch which means his even though his pace doesn't feel as fast as Kante due to his size (5ft 11 AVG+) he makes up for it with successful tackles, winning headers, interceptions and his goal scoring. Best value CM released this game comfortably. I love this man.

Seko Fofana, jesus christ he is good. I play him CDM in a 4231. Im a div 1 player and to this day I have not played with a better DM.in 25 games i have conceded 2 goals, 24-1 since he came in to the team. I have him on stay back in defence and he stays back, He is BIG and always in the right position, intercepts very well and he is an amazing passer. I havent tried his dribbling when he is a DM. But his biggest strength is his strength (no pun intended). You cant muscle him of the ball. I cant find any weakness on him. IMO worth every single coin.

FOFANA is the right card on the right time in terms of quality/price. Even if he's a bit expensive you'll have nothing to regret.
I play him as CM in a 4-3-3(2) with BASIC CHEM STYLE and COVER CENTER INSTRUCTION and almost every game he provides great performances.
PACE: good pace for a CM. Not a great acceleration but he can outpace defenders on open-field situations.
SHOOTING: if you can shoot from long distance don't think twice, just shoot! Finesse are on point, but lacks of finishing inside the area.
PASSING: passing in this game are too bad but he provides good passes even in difficult games.
DRIBBLING: his height and body type influences his agility and reactions in tight situations but overall he dribbles well in 1v1.
DEFENDING: nothing to say here. He's just like a truck at full pace on opponents. Perfect interceptions, standing tackles and aggression (this one feels like 90 in game) allows him to stop loads of opponents' runs.
PHYSICALITY: simply dominates his part of the field. Great strenght, and 87 stamina allows him to finish the game on yellow form in spite of his HIGH/HIGH workrate.

It got leaked that fofana is the winner of the league 1 potm so i relly got hyped about the card beacuse i had lots of psg players in my squad.
I saw him and did him without thinking about other stuff. It was my best coice this year because this guy is amazing. his defending is just crazy and the passes are so good. His pace with a shadow is soo amazing he is sooo fcking fast.
His stamina is good enogh to play 120 min in fut champs. I played very many diffrent players like Llorente, De Jong and Goretzka but this guy is the best. He feels like my mid vieira last year.
When i completed him i though he will turn like a truck like the most of the big cdm`s but this guy is soooo agile and amazing. Idk why but he can move soo smoth with the ball.
The only small prblem are the links but after i packed ginola it was not a problem anymore. Withe new Claus If it shoulnd be a problem to fit him in all teams.
If you have a good squad then defently do him because he is probably the best after mid Gullit

Fofana POTM is potentially the best CDM in the game as of now. He has got all attributes above 80 (except shooting which is 79) which makes him very similar to base icon Gullit. I used him as an LCM in a 4-1-2-1-2 and he was great while both attacking and defending. The cost of 200k was high but he is totally worth it if you can link him and he will transform your team
