Easily the best prem keeper right now. I bought him for 37k and swapped him for Ederson. ( I've also used Alisson.) My reasoning for doing this was just because Mendy had better card stats than Ederson aside from kicking which I boosted with a WALL chem style. He is also 6'6" compared to Ederson's 6'2".
I was expecting good things but nothing like I experienced with the 30 games I played with Mr. Edouard Mendy.
This guy saves the tough shots. He is so big, so quick, so intimidating (especially when he comes out) that none of my opponents have scored over 3 goals against me. Yes, I lost some, but the point I'm making here is that Mendy gives you a fighting chance to win or draw every time you play provided that you're at least ok at FIFA22.(d4 and up.) The WALL chem style certainly helped as I'm big on passing with my keepers although Ederson was still much better in that category on a BASIC chemstyle.
Overall this card very much reflects his real life performances. 10/10 keeper.
Intimidation (see height)
The only tall goalkeeper that can really pass the ball.
Always grabs the ball on corners and crosses that come too close.
Slower than some keepers but who runs with keepers? If you have to rush an entire 20-30yds out of the box that's on you for not defending properly.
