Romain Alessandrini is back! When i saw that EA added another sick special card of him i knew i had to try him out. I play him as a left striker in a 4222 formation next to baby eusebio. Alessandrini is a very very solid striker, especially for his price. Before him i have used flashback Karim Benzema, Neymar and for a very short time Mbappe. Allesandrini is absolutely rapid, the 95 pace that is given to him seems a tad low considering he feels equally fast as Mbappe, probably because he is so agile. His finishing is also very very solid. I do reccomend you try to mainly shoot with his strong foot because the shots with his weak foot can be a bit inconsistent. He is rather easy to link because of his nationality but if you don't have many french players, or icons, it might be a bit of a challenge. This card is definitely worth the price. It's even very cheap. I prefer him over normal neymar and flashback Benzema and he comes close to Mbappe. I played 21 games with him. 5 in fut champs qualifying and 16 games in division rivals division 2 and 1 (used to be elite but because of the new season we all got set back) I DO reccomend trying him out if you can!
So I decided to use him at LAM in a 4-2-3-1 and also as a left ST in a 4-1-2-1-2 (2). Keep in mind most of the games I have played with him I won and didnt even switch to the 2nd formations, as that is my go-to one when im losing. Let me start by saying that he is very good in both positions in my opinion, however he performed a bit better as a LS partnered up with Mbappé. His main asset, in my opinion, is his insane shooting - he basically finishes anything. His shot power is unstoppable and he can comfortably bang in goals from outside the box. His dribbling is also good, its not insane but it definitely is good. What surprised me was his Physical though - he did not get pushed of the ball often whatsoever and quite often came out of precarious situations with the ball. His passing is definitely not bad, but also not anything special. He can execute the occasional over the top through ball pretty well, but it just isnt consistent enough. Basically keep it simple with this guy - driven passes are usually pretty good with him. Also I should mention that I played most of the games with him in the Weekend League.
Shooting - extremely strong shooting ability, can finish pretty much anything from anywhere
Physical - I found him strong enough, stamina is good as well and he fights for the ball with his high aggression
Dribbling - It isnt as good as I would have thought it would have been, but its still very good
Alessandrini back at it again with the yearly non-performance based card. I've used gold Ben Yedder for most of the year and i thought that he wasn't pacy enough as a striker. I wanted to put Alessandrini in my team but i didn't have the coins. That's when i packed him in an 81-89x10 pack. Now i play him up front in a 4-1-2-1-2 with winter wildcards Aouar. His weak foot feels like 5 star in some situations. He is absolutely fenomenal. His pace is good, his shooting is so good that he scores most of the shots in a 20m radius, his passing is great for a striker, his dribbling makes it so he can open up chances and score. The only downside is his physique which is a little bit on the low side but it doesn't really matter. For me he's absolutely worth the coins, so go give him a try! 83 goals and 32 assists isn't a lot, but every weekend league i give wins away. This was my review and i hope it helped, if you're buying him have fun!
Bought him since on previous FIFAs, he's been impossible to defend against. unfortunately though, he's not as effective on this FIFA as he was on others.
Used on marksman, he gets 95 Pace, 97 Shooting and 96 Dribbling- insane stats that suggest he'd put in some R9 like performances. While he's definitely good, as the 55k Price tag suggests, he's nowhere near the level that his stats suggest.
Attributes
Pace- Rapid as hell, no need for a boost and no criticism here, he can comfortably outpace almost anyone.
Shooting- Actually quite hit or miss. Some shots are insane, and others are very feeble and weak, and easy for any keeper to catch. Longshots are very effective with this card and his volleys are great, though a lot of his in the box, close finishes are very poor. I've used him alongside FB Icardi and this really exposes Alessandrini's weaknesses.
Dribbling- Sadly, nowhere near the level that the 96 stat (on Marksman) suggests. Feels a bit heavy and unresponsive on the ball, likely due to the Average Body Type. I was very surprised at this considering all stats are 92+ except for Composure. Close dribbling and ball shielding are good, but he doesn't have the rapid, electric dribbling that players like my UEFA Politano have.
Passing- Passing feels good over a short range, not really had any problems here except for through-balls which are lacklustre, but overall better passing than a lot of strikers I've used
Physical- A definite positive on this card. Feels a lot stronger on the ball and better at ball-shielding than I expected. Don't bother trying to score headers with him though, as he won't find the back of the net
Overall
Overall, if you're a bit tight on coins then he's a solid option. I wouldn't be too lead by the stats with chem style boosts as he won't live up to that hype, and I wouldn't play him as a loan striker too, since he's not dynamic enough to lead an attack on his own. He could definitely be worth a try, though personally I think there are better options out there for a very similar price such as Winter Wildcards Morales, who I've found to be insanely good (on Engine) and a much more dependable forward
Before this card released, I was using fire correa, then alessandrini came out and I had to test him out. Used him in rivals (div 2) in a 442 partnered up with fb benzema and he was amazing for his price. He is crazy when it comes to pure speed. Plus his high agility and balance made it very easy to pass defenders. His left foot is an absolute rocket and that makes it very easy to score inside and outside of the box shots. His finesse shots were top class even though he dosent have the trait. His shooting kinda felt similar to ginola. His 4 star week foot kinda made it a bit difficult in some situations, but its good enough to score on. His passing is decent for a striker, nothing else to say about it. His r1/rb dribbling is excellent. He is pretty short which makes it feel alot smoother and makes him abit faster on the ball. Dosent win much headers but i did notice he dosent get bumped off the ball. Stamina was good enough to last 90 mins. Overall i like him alot and for what he gives out for his card this price is an absoloute steal. Definately would cop if looking for a st.
stupidly quick on the ball
high shot power makes it easy to score
insane agility and balance
Very good power long shots and finesse long shots
high aggression makes it easy not to get bumped off the ball
So I felt my squad needed a new striker, I used to have Ben Yedder because I feel he is op when shooting inside the box, but his lack of speed became a problem and I decided it was time to make an upgrade in my team. Consequently, I bought Alessandrini. Im not gonna say he is a bad player because he isn't, but he is not as good as expected. Indeed he is fast, but does not feels as a 95 paced striker. My biggest problem with this card was weak foot, it may say he has 4 wf, but in game it feels like a 3. When he shot with his right foot he missed unbelievable chances where he just had to push the ball. Regarding his dribbling it isn't bad at all, but I guess because of his body type he does not feels so agile. Something I can praise about this card is that his left foot makes magic. At least 90% of the shots with his left foot will end in a goal. This card is a really good option, but if you are searching for someone to carry your team and be that op player whom is impossible to get the ball from then Alessandrini is not your man.
-Left foot shots inside or outside have a 90% chance of being a goal
-Fast enough
-Good stamina
-Does not feel so agile as his stats say.
-Weak foot feel more of a 3 than a 4, will mis many clear chances if he uses his right foot.
I used this card during weekend league in hopes that it would clutch me some wins........ I was totally wrong. 95 pace is the biggest cpa of the century and his dribbling isnt any better. At first i played him with a marksman and it wasnt working then i switched to a hawk to get the pace up but it didnt do much. There are some positive sides though because sometimes his shooting was out of this world but it doesent matter because you will never get the chance to shoot with him. I had him in a duo with gelson martins ss card and he had to do all the goal scoring, alessandrini was legit invisible at times.
Amazing shooting (happens once every 3 games)
Really slow (tbh idk why)
Not agile at all
China league makes the links a bit harder but shouldnt be too much of a problem
