When i saw this card in the first time i laughed. i told my friends that this card is awful but my friend still did him and i ask him about savanier: "is he good?" the friend told me that he is beast and i tryed him. so: he is actually fast cause of his agility and the balance HIGH medium 4 4 And his pass is amazing! His tackles are good and his long curve shots amazing too. do him he is amazing (for many ppls better than the headliner)
Hey Guys first of all that’s my first player review.
Since the first baby icon sbc I played Xavi.
He was a very good and solid player but after nearly 200 games I don’t wanna play him anymore because of his inconsistence in passing and dribbling (since the last 50 games)
I was looking for a replacement for Xavi and I found him. He has a top nation and plays in a very Good league so he has very nice links.
Now the review begins:
Im playing him as a CM in the 4231 formation next to mid Schweinsteiger (as CDM). I chose marksman as a chem style.
But why Marksman?
I wanted to boost his reaction stat and also his shot stats. With marksman he got 89 Reactions and his longshots and shot power also go up.
For me I didn’t need to boost his pace. He is already really fast probable because of his nice dribbling.
The dribbling and pass stats are worldclass, he’s so agile and he don’t miss a pass. His vision and passes are incredible, particularly his long and short passes always get to the target.
As I said he don’t need a pace upgrade, he’s already fast enough for me. His shots are also very nice and he scored some bangers for me. He has the perfect DEF stats for me. That means that he can defend but he isn’t a CDM and the best part of his defending are the interceptions.
His stamina is very good, he can play a full match. He is strong enough with a marksman but it can be better although he’s only 5’8 ft. So sometimes he get bullied of the ball.
The high attack workrate is matching really nice to my play style because he makes nice runs forward but also comes back and help with defending. The 4* 4* are very great for passing and his longshots.
In the end I can say he’s very strong and solid with great pace (for me), nice shots especially longshots, worldclass passing and dribbling, nice interceptions, good stamina, 4* 4* is also very important and his work rates are also matching to my play style.
I hope you liked my review and I could help you.
Have a nice day :D
passing: every pass arrives
dribbling: very agile and very good on ball
longshots: in combination with the curve stat 10/10
At first, I was sceptical about this card because I didn't like the look of some of his stats. However, I had some leftover fodder and decided to complete this card and try him out in a few div rivals games just for fun. However, POTM savanier exceeded my expectations and has now secured his place in my starting XI. I played him as a CAM in a 4-2-3-1.
Pace- His Pace Felt good with a hunter and breezed past most defenders with relative ease. However, when coming up against more pacey defenders, he struggled a little. 8.6/10
Shooting- His shooting was good and he finished almost all of the chances he got. His long shots in particular were very good and his 90 shot power (with a hunter) combined with his 89 long shots made him deadly from free kicks and outside the box. 9/10
Passing- his passing was very good and he didn't really misplace any passes. he has good long passing (89) and short passing (90). 9/10
Dribbling- his dribbling was insane. His 93 agility and 98 balance was very good and he felt very quick and fluid on the ball. 10/10
physical- his physical was decent and he held his own against some defenders. However he was bodied a couple of times by the bigger defenders. his stamina (88) was very good and he could last the full 120 minutes. 7/10
Overall, a surprisingly good card that is very cheap and easy to complete. I would recommend this card to people who are building a french/ligue 1 team.
When I first saw this card come out in the form of an SBC, I have to admit that I was kind of disappointed. A CAM POTM with 78 Pace??? I was hesitant to do this SBC until after I finished POTM De Gea and Correa, but straight after, I regretted not having done him sooner. I only have a few words to describe him... don't judge a book by its cover. On the pitch he is an absolute beast, his dribbling and passing are excellent, although his physicality falls behind. Surprisingly, his pace is actually really good... despite the 78 rating of course. Acceleration is much better than what is written down, and surprisingly with 78 physicality he can also put in some amazing tackles as a CM or even a CDM, although many prefer him as CAM. His 4* Skill and Weak Foot are great, and he scores absolute bangers for me in Champs and Div Rivals.
when I needed a new CDM for my new 4-2-2-2 custom tactics I had a look at the POTM Savanier which could fit right in my team, so I put a shadow on him to boost his stats and played a couple of rivals matches with him. and what I instantly noticed with this card was that when he kept winning the ball back in midfield he can play a pass straight up to my attacking players because of his 90 passing or he can dribble the ball up and take players on with his 89 dribbling and his 4* weak foot. overall this card is good but it isn't the best CDM but if your looking for new cheap low budget CDM with French links then a recommend you do Savanier's SBC.
4* weak foot
Shooting and defending but if you use a chemistry style such as shadow, hunter, finisher etc it should be fine
