Whel, to start of, he is a beast, I already used almost all the meta keepers, but this keeper has something diferent, I played all the WL and the qualify with him, and he was a absolutely a beast, he is one of the best keepers for long to medium shots in the area, sometimes 1x1, but still leaves some times, in overall, he was a machine and so far the best keeper for Prem and maybe for the game, used him with basic, you can try a glove on it, but I still recommended the basic

He's absolutely cracked. I play him on Basic and he regularly has a 7-9 rating in Elite Div and Fut Champs whilst making 7-8 saves every other match against good players.
He regularly makes saves against most forms of long shots including finesses and even with his 40 speed he seems to rush out of goal fairly well if the opponents attacking player takes a slightly heavy touch (mainly the animation that makes him spread his body results in a decent amount of 1v1 saves but that is his weakness.
If you want to score against him try to get close into the box and use less power or preferably driven shots into the far corners, both things he has trouble with up close.
Longshots are almost always saved
Spreads his body well for a good amount of 1v1s resulting in a saved deflection
Good long throws up the pitch (even without the trait) resulting in attacking opportunities
A little slow rushing out
Can sometimes glitch up close with weird animations but at 5-10m distance you likely concede anyway
One of the worst GK I have used this year. Every shot that he faces he either dives out of the way of the ball, or parries the ball write to the feet of the second striker. His distribution is useless as well. Whether I am throwing or kicking it, the ball will always somehow end up back in the opponents possession. AVOID THIS CARD AT ALL COSTS and buy someone like Ederson, Alisson, Lloris or even Areola.

As the title suMendy is a VERY inconsistent player with medium highs and incredibly deep lows. Out of the 146 games I’ve played with him in my starting squad, I can’t remember a game where Mendy was performing incredibly good. He might’ve had a handful of games where he changed the outcome in my favour, but he mostly ended up messing up the deciding save. Even with my (sometimes) poor defending in mind, he messed up a lot of shots that should’ve never gone in.
If you're in need of a cheap PL keeper, Mendy shouldn't be your pick, I do not recommend him with the other (better) options
out there. I will be testing De Gea POTM soon because I'm tired of Mendy. Pass him on.
He is a game-changer, but not to your benefit.

He's the best keeper in game! most people here doesn't seem to know the right chem style for him. It's Cat. Don't be a stats merchant, just try him with cat and see the difference. With a cat this card is cracked! I've seen keepers make double rebound shots, but never seen anyone make 5x saves. This guy today saved 5 rebounds at a stretch.

I packed him the first day of the honourable mentions and decided to shift my team around to try and fit him in. Not like chem styles helped, but I tried him with a basic, glove, and cat. I can safely say that he is much worse than his stats show. He's 6'6 but can't save a finesse shot, he can't catch, and he parries the ball into his net way too often. You're probably better off using NIF Areola.

Well this is quite a shame. Ive packed him during TOTY upgrade Packs and was actually excited to try him out. Turns out he is nothing but garbage. Played him for like 20 games and lost at least 3 of them because of a mistake Mendy made. Decided to try him out with Chemstyles and it changes nothing, still cant stop a thing.
- Price: At least your Disappointment wont Cost much
- Kicking: Nothing to say about that its solid, gets the ball where you want it to be
- Reactions: Man hes slower than a 90 year old playing Uno
- Diving: He dives quick but he cant stop the ball during his attempts so its worthless. I could sneak a Neymar joke in but iam to frustrated.
- Positioning: Awful... Just Awful. Concedes in the short corner like there is no tomorrow. Horrible at crosses.
- Handling: Iam not even sure if he caught one ball during his time in my team so hes bad at that too

So to conclude, i would rather use 74 Fährmann or somebody else than this guy one more time. Iam so hyped about the day when a nice little sbc comes out and he goes down the drain.
So i decided to try Mendy. I was tempted after looking at his stats. For 38K i thought that i would have an endgame keeper. But no. After 12 games between rivals and weekend league, i must say that he is the worst GK in game. Only 3 saves in those 12 games. Dont buy it. Stay away from him. He has some weird animations.
