Petr Cech is a total fraud in Fifa 22!

Well, well, well...one of the first SBC i do every year is an Icon GK. Last year i did the van der Sar SBC with my untrades and this year i was happy to see another GK in the SBC section. I was hoping for Casillas to be honest but i guess we get the Casillas SBC next year. I love to do those kind of SBCs early because they're relatively cheap and you can built your CBs around without much problems. Van der Sar was amazing last year and i think he played over 1000 games for me until Moments Yashin superseded him later.

So i did the Cech Mid Icon SBC for about ~ 85.000 coins and was happy to have a solid GK for the next few months. Well...it was all theory. I'm a Div 1/2 player in Rivals and Rank 2/3 player in the WL so i'm probably a bit above average but not that great at all. Connection/server were **** most of the time so take this into account but still...Petr Cech is a total fraud in Fifa 22 (no idea if he was better in Fifa 21). I tried ALL chem styles you can use for GKs and he's just horrendous. He's 6'4'' or 6'5'' i believe and you think he's like 5'10''. I played Lopes Rulebreaker before him and Lopes was like five levels above him. Cech is just conceding goal after goal after goal. He's not jumping in any direction, just falling to the ground in the middle of the goal. He's poor with long shots despite being tall and rangy. He's absolute trash. He barely keeps hold of a ball even the weak shots. He's absolute dog****.

Don't do him. I would rather buy an Icon GK. Or just take a cheap GK like Arreola, Lopes, Navas, Donnaruma, Lloris etc. they all are much much better.

I don't know whats wrong with Cech, maybe he's kind of bugged or so but he's just so bad that i thought i had a Bronze gk in my team and i'm 100% honest with u guys.

despite being tall on paper you don't see it ingame as he's not very good at defending long shots, corners, free kicks etc.

expensive for a GK + a lot of cheap options as alternates

a lot of crazy errors while defending "safe" or "weak" shots

Cech is a Disaster

This Goalkeeper can't grab a ball... all the pozitive review are made when GK's where OP ! now im telling you he isn't OP He has Cautions.. he likes to stay on the line.. even if i set him sweeper keeper of come for crosses it's useless. same with NEW De GEA ! probably Cech is good for people that like to Manual move GK but i do not ! he's AI is awful, trust me who know's me can say that i us...
