Player Review

88 - Bundes POTM SBC
4.5
A Great Asset For Your Team
By RadianSix, 07-12-2021

Christopher Nkunku was one player I used at the start of Fifa and never got the opportunity to use him again since then. I had to skip his rule breakers card since my team was on a different direction and man I did regret not doing him. However, I recently finished his POTM owing to some great reviews from my friends and I managed to finish his sbc for around 100k and I have to tell you, the amount of value this card has is insane. This is my review of POTM Nkunku based off around Division 1 Rivals and Champions Play off's this week which accounted to around 15 games in total.

Positional Versatility -

I tried Nkunku in 3 different positions, as a Left back with Rulebreaker Davies playing as a CM in a 4-1-2-1-2, as one of the CDM's in a 4-2-3-1 with POTM Fofana and also as the Right CAM in a 4-2-2-2. The first thing you notice about the card is how effective he was in various positions on the field. I used a Hunter playing him as a CAM and Anchor when i switched him to Midfield or Right back in some games. The pace and the dribbling make the card so smooth in game and his passing is very good. He was able to pick out strikers with driven passes or first time through passes with ease. At CAM was where I got to experience his shooting the most and wow, that curve on his card makes a world of difference. As the right Cam, I was able to cut in with ease and find the top right corner on most occasions with the finesse shot and his positioning means at CAM, he will always be there as a passing option inside the box.

As a Central midfielder and a Right back, his defensive stats really kick in. His pace coupled with his dribbling and composure makes the card very good at CM and his physicality is noticeable in game as he can easily bully wingers, win tackles and make key interceptions in midfield. I would definitely recommend pairing Nkunku with someone physical and with H/H work rates to make up for his M/M work rates in midfield. As a Left back, he was a solid option and his work rates M/M really shine in that position. The AI will never push him too forward giving you an extra man there if you get caught in the counter attack on the left flank and he has a more than decent cross even on his weaker foot due. His pace combined with his good defensive and physical stats make him a more than decent fullback on both flanks giving you options to use cards like Rule Breaker Davies or Rule Breaker Trent Alexander Arnold in midfield.

His best position for me personally was at CM. I played him as a Box to Box CM with another midfielder who either has H/H or M/H work rates but he is a solid option at CAM as well. His height, dribbling, pace and physicality is perfect for the Meta as a central midfielder especially when he is paired with someone taller and more physical.

M/M Work rate -

Coming to the noticeable negatives on the card are his 3* weak foot which isn't too bad if you play him at CM or as a fullback but if you plan to use this card exclusively as a CAM, You may want to avoid his left foot in clutch situations. Some may not prefer his M/M work rates and I will admit that at times it may feel like the player does not do much in game but with instructions, you can fix his M/M work rates. I tried the card with different instructions and finally at CM where i played the majority of games with the card, I preferred to leave him on Balanced. Overall, i can assure you his work rates are not a deal breaker in game.

Final Thoughts -

Is the card worth it? Yes if you can afford him. Regardless of division or level, he fits in very well with the meta and his card personally was a game changer in Division 1 and Playoff's for me His nation is a big plus in squad building and there are some good meta cards in the Bundesliga to link him as well. Overall, POTM Nkunku is a solid option at this stage of the game and will stay in your team for many games if you finish him. If you own his Rule Breakers card, I would suggest you sit this sbc out because the difference in stats in game will not be very noticeable. Recommended chem style - Hunter at CAM and Anchor at CM/CDM.

Amazing

Hey everyone. Today I'll be reviewing: Christopher Nkunku! This card costs around 200k which is a little pricy, but I think he is worth it. I did him for 50k with fodder from my club. I play him in CM (B2B) in 442

The Twelfth Apostle (Nkunku's 12th card..)

Playing Nkunku in the midfield is where you can and will take advantage of his stats.I played him as a CM on the 3-4-1-2 tactic. My objective was to play as normal as I could, so I wouldn't be biased in my opinion about this fantastic card.Avoided "forcing" the ball to Nkunku, as most reviewers do.And in the end, he turned out to be even better than I was expecting him o be.

Overpriced, but a BEAST

(DIV 1 RIVALS) My goodness I don't even know where to start. This card was only going to be on it's way when he got 2 informs and kept balling out, so I was only waiting. A bit overpriced yes, but he is an absolute game changer on the field. Worth it if you can lay the money down in my opinion. His shooting is priceless with a hunter, as well as his ability to get in behind with the added pace. The finesse shot trait makes ...
