87 - SIF
Quite surprised nobody has dropped a review on this guy yet seen as he's been out for a bit now so thought id drop one to help people out on whether to use him etc.
This guy is class. Used his FIF here and there, then saw his SIF and didn't know if he was more than double the price of the 86. He's probably my favourite CM/box-to-box I've used so far, think this card would be rated so much higher by players if he had 80+ shooting.
I used him the final week of rivals with just over 1800 skill points in elite and gave a lot of top midfielders a run for their money.
I used him this weekend league too and finished 16-4.
Used him in RDM in a 4231, with cover centre, cut passing lanes. Because he's my attacking dm, I ran him on get forward in games when I needed goals but you could keep him on get forward due to 99 stamina.
I used him before with Hawk because he was attacking for me, but I tried anchor as well and that worked very good on him. Just preference, even if you used hunter or shadow depending how you use him he'll be sick with most chem styles.
Pace- He has good pace for a cm and also has the acceleration over sprint speed which is more ideal, helps in his recovery when defending or closing the ball down.
Shooting- This was probably the most surprising stat for me as I didn't expect it to be that good. His shooting stats in general are ok, but his positioning around the area is so good, gets himself into space and makes very good runs. Being composed helps him finish most of his chances which helps him having low finishing.
Passing- Passing stats are a myth for him. His long passing, through balls etc are class. Short passing is 90 which makes him really good at give and go play, which is where his pace plays a good advantage for him too.
Dribbling- Messi? Honestly just glides across the pitch with the ball and is one of my favourite dribblers too. He's small, quick, agile, his dribbling makes up for having 3* skills honestly great running forward with the ball.
Defending- It's decenttttt. AI defending is really good, but tbf when you're controlling him he's very good to defend with, probably the closest to kante with how good he is when intercepting etc.
Physical- 99 stamina, do I need to say anymore? Part of the reason too that I used hawk was to boost his aggression and strength a little and was again very surprised at how determined he is to get the ball back. No word of a lie he pushed 90 Pogba off the ball a few times in one game I played, but I think when people see him, they dont expect him to be challenging this well for the ball.
High/High Work rates with 99 stamina.
Weak foot- Did a review on Capoue and said the same thing, 3* weak foot is a minimum of 4* on every player in this game. Passing and shooting with his left is no worse compared to with his right.
3* skills- Quite dependent on how you play really. For me I use basic skills with my midfielders as I dont want to lose it in a bad position. Accidentally registering a 4* skill move takes forever with 3* skillers, even when you cancel it so just try not to do it so much.
Height- Luckily he's next to Capoue so don't have to worry about them too much but he's not the greatest at winning them for me.
