James Ward-Prowse: Midfield Maestro

When I started playing FUT this year, James Ward-Prowse's 81 card was already in my starter team. When I saw he got an IF card this week, I was so happy to use him again.

I do have to say one thing though, he is not a 'meta' card. For players who want to play in a competitive division, he is too slow and lacks skillmoves. That doesn't mean he's bad at all, he's a really fun card to use and specifically to take freekick and penalties with. He bangs all of those top bins!!!

For only 12k? You can't go wrong!

Overall he's a very enjoyable card for casual FIFA players!

PROS

* Passing, his passing feels like prime Pirlo.

* Stamina, with 95 stamina he can run ALL game.

* Freekick/Penalty technique, oh boy I love taking set pieces with him!

* Agility, despite his agility (78) and balance (79) stats he felt really good on the ball.

CONS

*Acceleration + Sprint speed, with a shadow chemstyle I imagine his pace would improve. He is not extremely fast.

* Sometimes strenght, his strenght isn't always the best in 50/50's.

* Defending, his defending is alright and he will do the job as a secundairy CDM. He's not a Kanté-like CDM.

Insane BTB

This review was done on PS5I might be in the minority here, but i much prefer FUT Captains team 1 to team 2, however i could not resist trying out the new James Ward-Prowse card and, I can confirm, he is one of the best box to box midfielders available for players on a budget. It personally makes no sense to me how he is this cheap.

Alright so I really like Ward-Prowse as a player in real life so when he dropped I bought him straight away. I had used his gold card earlier in the year for fun but unsurprisingly he wasn't the best, so it's nice that he's finally useable. I used him as a box-to-box in a 41212(2) with a basic chem style. Elite div rivals/ fut champs.

i recently got this guy out of the campaign bag player pick and decided to do this review on him. 100% on of the best cm in the prem and for his value 100% worth the card. He is cheap for what he is capable of doing in game. He can even get pass players quite easily and he feels very smooth on the ball.
