So, unlike the majority, I used him with a Hunter as a more offensive CM. Since he has H/M workrates, I was able to score 12 goals and 4 assists in 9 rival matches, and though I am only in div1 and not the greatest fifa player, I was more than pleased with him. I played him in a 4-3-3(2) formation (alongside Goretzka), like he does with City. I left his instructions as they are since. his attacking AI is already incredible, but sometimes he hestiates to make those runs forward. The same goes for his defensive AI, with the difference that it isn't as agressive as someone with H/H workrates, obviously, but you will always find him inside or outside your own box and in the opposite box as if he is a striker.
But Gundo's biggest strength is his incredible passing abilitiy; he can literally pass it from everywhere. Never saw such accuarate passes before. His dribbling is also really solid for someone with an average body type. The small touches and turns he made were extremly good and fluid. In those matches he scored some incredible goals, even a finesse shot outised the box without green timing it and some other great long shots, but do keep in mind that he doesn't have any meta traits, so they won't be consistent. I didn't expect that he will win every or many 1v1situations but man, did he suprise me. He can keep the ball without loosing it instantly due to his suprisingly good strength. Even when he lost the ball, he quickly recovered it. His positioning was a key part in his defensive work. I often found him at the right spot ready to intercept the ball. Some would argue that he is too slow but it was more than enough to run past defenders. His biggest and only downside is that he won't last 90 minutes; he usally is out of breath at min. 70-80.
Some comparisons: I would defi. say that he is better than Bruno, SS KDB, WW Etebo, or WW Aouar bcs. he is an better allrounder than them and dictates the middlefield like a chef.
