89 - FUT Birthday
With every annual release of promo 'FUT Birthday' , there have been multiple cards throughout the years who end up as some of my club legends. This card might join those prestigious few. Mostly lining up in both the LAM and RAM in both 4-2-2-2 and 4-2-3-1, the first thing you notice is the cards fluidity. Using an Engine chem he changes directions swiftly and manages to zip past defenders more often then not. Paired with his unique body type his unassuming strength of a 73 becomes comparable to the likes of my Architect Chiesa, shielding off defenders without much effort. Another stat that seems to play much higher than suggested is his pace. Despite the Engine boost increasing it to a 95, he still felt even faster, often beating the likes of Hakimi and similarly paced players. His stamina was also no problem regularly playing for the whole 90. Though he only managed to notch 9 goal contributions in 18 games, he was pivotal in my teams attack chances. Often the one building up the play, his passes have pin-point accuracy whether its a regular pass, cross, lob through ball, etc. His finishing was also impeccable having the ability score in every scenario with power or finesse. The biggest selling-point of course his 5 star weak foot. This upgrade really opens up Grealish's options making him one of, if not my most versatile player. I was constantly switching his position and in all of them he excelled. In total this card is an absolute steal, especially being from the Prem where cards are ridiculously expensive..
