    I might be in the minority here, but i much prefer FUT Captains team 1 to team 2, however i could not resist trying out the new James Ward-Prowse card and, I can confirm, he is one of the best box to box midfielders available for players on a budget. It personally makes no sense to me how he is this cheap.


    This card will excel with many different Chem styles, from a hawk and an engine if you play him as a box to box, or a hunter and a shadow if you want a more midfielder more specialised in attack or defence.

    In my opinion, this card works best as a box to box midfielder, however you could definitely make a case for him being a CAM or maybe as a CDM with the correct chem style.


    Overall: This card is incredible, and one of the best budget btb midfielders you can buy, and i would highly recommend this card to anyone. I really struggled to find many faults with this card to be honest, he always delivered.

    • Not the best defending if you play him as a CDM, a boost with a chem style is much needed
    • Can sometimes feel a bit clunky, however this is rare.

    When I started playing FUT this year, James Ward-Prowse's 81 card was already in my starter team. When I saw he got an IF card this week, I was so happy to use him again.I do have to say one thing though, he is not a 'meta' card.     Alright so I really like Ward-Prowse as a player in real life so when he dropped I bought him straight away. I had used his gold card earlier in the year for fun but unsurprisingly he wasn't the best, so it's nice that he's finally useable. I used him as a box-to-box in a 41212(2) with a basic chem style.     i recently got this guy out of the campaign bag player pick and decided to do this review on him. 100% on of the best cm in the prem and for his value 100% worth the card. He is cheap for what he is capable of doing in game. He can even get pass players quite easily and he feels very smooth on the ball.
