Best VFM keeper in Ligue 1

The only coins I have is from Rewards/SBC and games

I was using a Serie A squad. I find serie A very OP, and very cheap compared to Other Leagues like Premier etc

Then a miracle happened and I packed MBAPPE (untradeable)

I never had the luck to play with any CR7/Messi/Mbappe or even Ibra in his prime in the previous FIFA so of course I was going to build a team around him, so I selected Ligue 1.

Ligue 1 unfortunately is not a good league as Serie A to find players, but where you really struggle is GK position

Unfortunately there are no middle class GK. At first I tried Kaylor Navas, and OMG was I dissapointed. His stats look perfect, enhanced by a glove, but this guy looks so tiny in goal, he really plays so bad

So I looked at the other options.

Lopes is also rated as 82 but he is even shorter than Navas so I didn't even try

Then my vote went to Lafont. I have played appx 25 games with him. He is quiet ok. He will save what he should, concede what he should. Occasionally he would save a miracle or concede a crazy shoot

+ Best affordable keeper in Ligue 1

+ Very tall which is important aspect for FIFA GK

+ Is on quick sell price now, meaning you will never lose any coin, you can only gain (I doubt it will happen)

'- He is a 82 rated card. Solid and tall, but do not expect miracles

Best Ligue 1 keeper irl and in Fifa

I got him out of my weekend league rewards and played some div rivals games with him. I had the 84 inform which was insane and I just couldn't imagine what the 86 would be like. I was saving almost every ball and made little to no mistakes. I have used gold rare Donnarumma and Neuer but this one felt way better than those two. He was always consistent and could save almost every ball in a 1v1 situation.

He is hands down the best keeper in the game for me, only comparable to TOGS Donnarumma who is 10x the price. I play elite rivals 1900 skill level and he never lets me down, he feels taller than he actually is (6"4) which seems odd but someone like Emi Martinez feels shorter (6"6).
