Player Review
95 - TOTS
I managed to pack this chap in my picks. Having used POTM De Gea, I thought I'd test Hugo out for a few games...but he really didn't cut the mustard.
Unfortunately, he rarely holds the ball or makes a save from one-on-one opportunities, and bottles a number of easy saves at key moments in the game. I reluctantly persevered for a few weekend league games, a handful of rivals matches and squad battles, but have reverted back to De Gea and have seen my overall performance improve drastically as a result. Where this particular card falls short is that he barely dives for any shots or holds the ball. I think I lost count of the number of goals i've conceded as a result of his rebounds.
If you're a better player than me (Div 3) and don't get peppered with shots, then he is a good option for links.
It was a valuable journey, Hugo. I just wish it could have ended on a more positive note.
- Easy to link
- Good at coming for crosses and corners
- Rarely holds the ball - parries it far too much
- Can't recall him making any saves from a 1v1 situation
- Barely makes any saves with his hands. Tries to use his feet far too much in-game
- 1* weak foot has cost me on a few occasions
