Left Stick to the win.

I have been using him since November when I got him untradeable from a PP. Played him in 3 positions: RW, CAM and CM. I liked him most at CAM or Right CAM in a 4231, but he has been relegated to CM b2b because I got too much untradeable players who play at RW, CAM or even ST, where I never tried him. Well, he performs 8.75/10 at RW, 9.5/10 at CAM and 9 at CM until May.

I swear this card is insane for most stages of the game. I love dribbling with him, just left stick is enough, because 4* feels like 3*, but only left sticking I've destroyed players at Elite in Rivals. His passing is also insane, compared to Xavi I can say they're the two best passers I've ever tried this FIFA, his L1+Triangle are really like in real life. Shooting is great! Messi has two type of shooting: Normal shooting from any range, that's a 8/10, and Finesse long shots, those feel amazing, almost all the goals I have with him it's because his Long Shots + Curve + Definition=90% chance of goal. His pace felt more than 85, even boosted with Catalyst I was surprised, but since may, his pace feels like 75. That's why CAM or CM are great positions for him.

His body type and height helps him on defense, but as I said, he isn't great at this, he may recover some balls and make a few interceptions, but, sadly, CM isn't his best position because of this.

His physicality was great on some times and bullshit at others, this does help him at dribbling like he used to do in real life, but against some cards like Mendy or any other strong LB, if you don't manage to dribble past him, he'll body you for sure.

9/10 Corners.

+Dribbling, if you know how to dribble without skills, this is your man.

+Passing, especially long air passes and crosses.

+Freekicks, give them curve if you can, green time finish and Messi should give you the goal.

+Shooting, especially finesse.

+Body type and height for a dribbler.

+Links of Ligue 1.

-Med/Low work rates.

-Crossed shots.

-3* WF feel like 2* WF sometimes.

-Defending, obviusly.

-Strength.

After using Messi for 10 games i think i can make a good review from him. He is simply the best gold card i haved used, i have used CR7 and Messi. Based on the meta that is passing and dribble, Messi y simply best than CR7. His shooting is unbelievable, his passing is another class, his dribbling 100/10, sprint speed is ok/good, and his acceleration is another level. If you have the coins and the links buy him. AWESOME!!!
