Player Review

First and foremost, I’m unsure if a 3 day usage of Varane would be useful for you FUT players thinking of getting him, so I’ll be honest with my review of him.

Managed to obtain Varane through the Gold premium player pack preview, and paired him in a back 4 of Telles, Lacroix & Mukiele.

Varane ingame is pretty much enjoyable and in my own opinion if I were to compare to his Fifa 21 gold vers, it’s better. He’s composed at the back, good at interceptions if your opponent are playing those one-twos, as for running standing tackles he can swoop attackers clean like how my mother uses her broom to clear the dust at home (Yes we don’t use vaccum don’t ratio me). His passing is slighty above average, his pace if u were to slap a shadow on him, he can match up with whatever speedsters ur opponents has in store for you. One of my best moments with him is when he made a superb clean tackle on freaking Lukaku running at max speed from the center circle about to 1V1 my GK. Varane managed to chase him back and made a world class tackle that sometimes I feel it could be broken tbh. It’s no doubt he’s the best Gold CB in this game(from my perspective at least) . However, I haven’t tried out Kounde and Kimpembe yet so maybe those two could be top CB competitors if you don’t include ICONS. The only thing i would consider average or wouldnt like about him is his defensive heading, aerial ability when defending or clearing the ball and his agility, nothing more. If you’re an average gamer like me, want a CB that can do the job for you and you dont mind spending, he’s a must buy. However, looking at his cost, unless you manage to pack him, I would suggest you give other Budget CB a chance.
