87 - Icon
Ian Rush. I packed this man untradeable and had very mixed emotions. And after using him for 20 games my opinion has slightly changed. he's one of those icons you pack and the only reason you would keep them is if they were untradeable.
Shooting: having a striker who can consistently finish is very nice. but as more meta cards come out and the stock of those cards increase, this card will only get worse. 9/10 he finishes his dinner on either foot. 4 star weak foot does come in very handy.
Pace: Pace isn't as important I've found this year and 84 acceleration with 88 sprint speed is very usable. and with 89 ATT positioning he's in the right place at the right time. this card will be good until around Christmas. I think past that point he'll be behind the meta
Passing: His worst attribute. Below par across the board and rightfully so. trying to involve rush in build up play is like trying to make Mike Ashley change out of the classic sports direct jeans. its just not going to happen. lack luster is an understatement.
Physicality: No complaints. Stamina lasts, strength is decent and even with 73 aggression he likes to harass defenders.
Defending: Only going to motion heading as the other information is irrelevant. 5'11 + 84 jumping + 88 heading accuracy = goals. simple maths.
Overall: I wouldn't go out of my way as there are cheaper options with on par attributes. and past Christmas this card will probably be in a SBC for me
