So i decided to complete this N'Golo Kante card Because i Had the fodder and i wanted to try him out cause I've Heard Mixed Reviews From him. I Am Division 3 In Rivals and Oh my He is INSANE!! For Me He Feels Like the Gold Kante With the Right Chemistry Style. For Me i'm currently using an anchor and he's a beast. He plays CDM in a 41212(2) and bosses the midfield. He's More agile and you really can feel the pace boost this card has been given. His card Defensively is Really good despite the 5 Less defending this card has been given. His Passing isn't the best but the same with the gold card he doesn't have the best passing.

in conclusion, This Card is Insane and Would Highly Recommend anyone to do this card if debating whether to do it or not.

Had to do him because I just love Kante! I figured whether 87 or 90, it is still going to be Kante - will defend like Kante, will pass like Kante. I've played all of 5 games or so with him thus far and he has quite honestly improved my midfield - paired with Allan (took Fabinho out the starting 11).

My advice, only do this card (first) if you have a passion for the player or the style of play. If you're enthusiastic about the card, then having the fodder makes it all the more easier. Again, I love this guy so playing with him after completion made it even better!

Kante honestly isn't as bad as people say he is. Sure the card isn't perfect, but it's a great cheap alternative to the gold rare card. For starters, I don't play him as a lone DM, I play him in a 4-1-2-1-2 narrow as my right side cm who stays back. I like pushing him up and pressing players with him knowing I have someone to cover for him in the dm spot. His interceptions are great, he has great defensive awareness, although its not as good as the gold card. I'd recommend doing this sbc only if you won't have to spend actual coins and have a lot of fodder because this card isn't as good as the gold rare. He feels agile and nimble and can dribble the ball up (if you use r1 dribbling like I do) but rarely do I find him making a difficult pass, so his passing isn't too great.

Got lucky (or unlucky, if that's your opinion) to get Kante from the Year in Review Player Pick, and he fit my team perfectly so I thought well, why not give him a go? And I have to say, he definitely hasn't disappointed. Obviously even with the 77 physicality, his ball winning and interceptions don't fail to amaze me, even at this stage of the game, which I imagine is a result of his unique body type and animations. He is literally barging anyone off the ball - small and rapid players like Zola or taller strikers with better bulk like CR7, Lukaku and Haaland.

However, what really surprised me was his remarkable dribbling. His height (or rather, his lack of height) partnered up with his agility and pace means he can carry the whole team forward by dancing past tackles. For my play style, as I play without a CAM, I require CDMs to be able to carry the ball forward and distribute them to my strikers or wide players, and he fits the role perfectly.

As for his passing, which I know put a lot of people off from doing him, his 73 stat that is on the card does no justice to how he feels in game. His vision, short passing and long passing are 76, 80 and 77 respectively, so I would imagine the 73 is only due to his low curve, crossing and free kick accuracy, none of which are terribly important for his position and how he feels in game. His short passing is quite good, as is his vision, but his long passing is just about adequate.

In terms of value for money, that's a little harder to judge as he was roughly 350k, but that was quite early on in the game. However, now his normal card is under 200k and has been for just over a month since the Winter Wildcard promo, I would say that this one would be worse value, but considering the state of the game, its players and gold Kante's price when this SBC was released, if you did it then and he's just rotting away somewhere in the club, I would strongly advise you to at least give him a go. If you are really worried about the passing, play him in a 2DM formation next to a better playmaker. I use Barella for this role, but any useable midfielder with decent defending, passing and work rates should be fine.

I use Backbone chem on him, tried Anchor but without passing boost he becomes a liability.

Is he good ? Kinda, at the end he is still Kante but you can feel the downgrade, and now with more people getting better teams he is getting outscaled really fast.

Was he worth it ? No. His workrates and passing is a huge problem, he will get up the pitch whether you like it or not, so if his passing isn't boosted by any chemstyle then you have to make the most simplest and safest of passes with him or he will give away possession 7/10 times. On other hand his defending and pace/agility is still very Kante-like but because of his workrates his positioning suffers against counter attacks and also forces him to take part in attacking-third more than I like.

And with how defending has been this year, you can place your 99 interceptions player in most perfect position to cut a passing lane, or tackle as well as possible but EAids will still find a way, So he doesn't feel any more outstanding compared to most other good DMs. Overall he is a decent DM but for me he wasn't worth the 100k coins and other high rated fodder I used for him. I could've done FB Verratti and POTM Fofana for that much.

What makes it even worse is the fact that EA released RB Verratti 2 days after I completed FB Kante, who was not only 1/3rd the price but also a better player with op links, more Kante-like than FB Kante. So thanks for that EA.
