Hi everyone. Today I'll be reviewing...
The brazilian star, Vinicius Junior!
His POTM card costs around 800k. Some may call it overpriced, but if you have lots of fodder in your club (just like I did) then he is great value. I played him at ST with a deadeye in 41212(2) alongside Benzema FB and Fekir RTTK at CAM.
Anyways, let me get to the ratings...
Fastest player in the game. 99 pace... Do i even need to say anything? He makes Adama Traore look like a snail.
Now this is where it gets tricky.
Sometimes he can shoot like Puskas, sometimes he may shoot like koulibaly. It depends on the gameplay but generally, he shoots very good. If he would shoot good even when there is bad gameplay, I would give him a 9.5.
Have'nt passed with him that much so i can't say much. Imma go with 8 just beacuse it's the safest option.
99 agility, 95 dribbling, 92 ball control, 87 balance.
This guy is a cheat code. He can make Marquinhos and Kimpembe look like Boateng in 2015. He is surely one of the best dribblers in the game, if not the best.
Why would you even want to?
Lasts the whole game, is strong, can jump. What else do you want from a pacey striker/winger?
Super fun to use, very good, good links. One of the best cards in the game, surely.
Value for money: 5/10
It depends. If you have fodder in your club - do him. If you DO NOT have fodder in your club - buy his 86. Simple as that.
Didn't expect him to be that good tbh. Best player I've used so far.
He reminds me of...
Fekir, Mbappe, Mane, Messi, Literally any super agile player.
Should you do him?
but only if you have fodder
The player overall
Where do I start? This card is phenomenal. You know how good his other special cards are and this one feels noticeably better. He is the fastest player I have used this year. His dribbling is incredible. He does skills so quickly as well as turns so fast that its almost impossible to tackle him. His passing is really good and he creates alot of chances for his teammates to score. He is surprisingly strong. He can hold off defenders to get his shot away. His shooting is 50/50. He scores some ridiculous goals but he misses some easy chances. However, all in all, this card is ridiculously good and is definitely worth the coins. For a more in depth review, check out my YouTube channel, "SR7 Productions".
I did this card despite it being so expensive because I had used his Sif and he was insane. I was division 1, and then I did his sbc and am now at 1900 in elite. All I have to say is wow. He is the craziest player I have used this FIFA, and I have used Neymar, Messi, Ronaldo, and Ginola up top. There is a significant difference between this and his other cards, including the team of the group stage. If you could complete this with fodder for 500k or less, 100% do it. With him, it is so easy to dribble in and around the box, and his shooting is solid but only occasionally does he miss simple shots. His pace is notably insane and is a big difference. He is probably the first person that has actually sprinted past varane. Overall, he is really good, and highly recommend doing it if you have enough.
Speed of Skills
Left stick dribbling
Tackling when pressing
The price is slightly dodgy
Ladies and gentlepeople, I'd like to start this review off with a warning to a certain type of player. If you're someone that decides to shoot from impossible angles or positions, you can already stop reading this. You'll be the exact type that will be complaining about his shooting, the stat most people are uncertain about when completing this SBC. He doesn't shoot like R9, CR7,... In short, he isn't a player with a rifle in his foot. Not interested anymore? Good, you wouldn't deserve him anyway if that's the case
You're still reading to this point? Good because this is the point where it gets tasty
This card - OH MY GOD THIS CARD. I had an exuberant amount of fodder in my club, allowing me to do this POTM Vinicius Jr for a mere 62k (and I don't care about the person that gets on their horse now talking about opportunity costs and that I actually paid more than just 62. Just shush ok?) and all I can say up to now is WOW. This card has singlehandedly brought my joy for this game back. Is it expensive? For sure. Is he good value for money? Debatable when you can buy a TOTGS card for 200k less that has basically the same stats. That's why I'd only recommend him to people that can save a good chunk of his cost with packed fodder.
Alright, we have the boring info out off our way now. Let's talk stats now.
NOTE: I was using this Vini as LCAM in a 4231 for 10 games in Division 1 of Rivals and never forced him the ball once.
Pace: He's QUICK, like KACHOW-quick. He'll leave behind anyone, from Varane to Kimpembe to Hakimi. If we're being honest, you wouldn't expect anything less from a player that has 99 pace.
Shooting: See, this is a very weird one. When he's in front of goal, he'll score 9 times out of 10. That other 1 time he'll absolutely send the ball into Row Z though. The shot-type I've found most effective - actually by quite a long margin - was near post shots after cutting in from the wing. I've used a Finisher chemistry style to give the highest shooting boost as possible - 15. But as I've already said, if you're contemplating completing this card but will play him striker, I wouldn't botter and instead get that new Ice Gabriel Jesus or Correa. I reckon he could work in a 2 striker formation but I preferred him as wide CAM. But even though I've basically completely slandered his shooting abilities, he still managed 14 goals in 10 games. Something even I didn't expect. He was just always there. He's positioned himself well, you send some defenders to the shops and he'll finish the move very tidily.
Dribbling: Holy moly, this guy is so silky, so smooth. The responsiveness on this card is utterly crazy and it also leaves no surprise that left-stick dribbling was insane. He literally glides past defenders when I was just walking towards them. I've used a lot of players this year: 95 Maradona, TOTW Neymar, Ginola, OTW Messi, etc. and I can with my hand on my heart tell you I've never felt dribbling in this way as I've felt it with Vinicius, simply incredible.
Passing: It's just alright. Not bad, not great. He's able to play the 1-2 passes with ease and he'll pull off a decent cross most of the times but that's about it. Don't expect some TOTY De Bruyne passing but it'll do the job just fine.
Defending: Who cares? This is FIFA, not Mourinho Simulator.
Physical: He'll win the occasional header but that's really it. But as the power curve is slowly going up and fullbacks are getting better defending and jumping, it won't be long until he won't any. Do I care? Not really. I'll use Fellaini if I want to win some headers. Now for stamina, it's really really great. You'll be able to run rings around defenders for 90 minutes or when necessary 120 minutes with ease.
Conclusion: This card makes me happy, makes me smile. I once noticed I was genuinely smiling when he absolutely blasted a shot towards the corner flag but I couldn't care less because what happened beforehand was just so good. This card makes me want to play the game, he's the reason I want to play more than just my 7 wins in Rivals. He's like a toy you've just got for Christmas and can't get enough of.
Expensive but bloody incredible!
- Blistering pace
- Lightning-quick feet
- Sassy dynamic image (honestly worth 200k on its own)
- Shot power
- Incredible lung capacity
- Finishing (inside the box)
- Finishing (outside the box)
- 92 ball control (could've been 93)
This card is absolutely cracked.
He is so fast and agile - no defender can catch him!
His shooting is better than the stats say, he uses nearly every chance.
Passing is good, but lack sometimes.
4* WF feel like 5*
a bit expensive, but worth every coin
