89 - Headliners
Player profile:
For starters, he's 6'2 with high and average+ body type, so he definitely won't be a meta player based off player build. Only has 2 traits which are flair and technical dribbler, so definitely a bit underwhelming in the traits. Medium low work rates which is great for a striker, and 4* skills and 4* weak foot, also great for a striker.
Pros:
For starters, this card is very strong and very quick. His finishing is good, and usually finishes the chances he gets, especially because he has 86 composure. His passing is honestly great, and definitely feels a lot better than the stats may show, especially his long passing (over the top, crossing and through balls). Dribbling feels weird because of the low agility, but once you get used to the low agility, the card is really fun to dribble with because of the quick burst of acceleration. His heading is okay, but I personally don't cross the ball often, so I rarely find myself in scenarios where he needs to win headers. I currently play him on the wing where he usually tends to cut in and create goal scoring opportunities.
Cons:
EA really didn't do Leao any justice with this card. He is not agile, but doesn't feel clunky and the dribbling actually feels really smooth. His low balance means he's always on the ground. His long shots rarely go in because of the low long shot stat and no finesse shot trait. This card feels like it should be played as a striker, but I personally didn't like him at striker because he would always drift wide, or have poor positioning as a striker. I tried him out wide and liked the runs he was making and personally preferred him as a winger, but you could definitely try him as a striker, but I would recommend giving him instructions to stay central. He has low stamina, so he tends to tire out by the end of the game, especially in a pressing formation like a 442.
Summary:
I really enjoyed playing with this card and found using him to be really fun, however this card definitely is not meta and I definitely wouldn't recommend picking him up for 145k because there are so many better options, however this card is also a great investment, because AC Milan could easily go on a 4 win streak, and he plays really well in real life and is likely to get at least one IF.

So Irl I'm a huge Leao fan and of course since he received a special card, I decided to give it a try. He plays as the left striker with Eto'o on the right in a 4-1-2-1-2 (2). He is absolutely amazing on the ball, which really surprised me given his length, body type and weak balance. He's strong and can almost finish absolutely anything, sometimes his 4* weak foot gives in and he fluffs a shot, but it doesn't happen really often. His pace doesn't feel like 95 in game, but if needed to he can sprint past defenders. Passing is what you'd expect from 82 passing.
