I packed him from the 83x25 and at first was a little disappointed since I only got him and Bonucci and no other special cards. Since David still fit my team perfectly I decided to try him out as I was in need of a new ST. First game I played, not even joking, he scored a hattrick within 10 minutes. I don't know what it is about him, whether it is his body type or something but he just steals the ball off of any player. His shooting is also amazing. Obviously you don't want to finesse with him but if you keep him central on the pitch and he gets a clear shot, whether it's inside or outside the box it will either go in or the keeper has made a great save. During the 3rd game I faced Courtois in goal and I couldn't score. So what did I do? I let David have a shot and guess what? It went in. Keep in mind this was with a basic chemstyle so the only shooting stat boosted that affected that shot was +5 shot power. Basically what I'm saying is his shooting is insane as it is. With a marksman or finisher (probably the 2 preferred chemstyles for him) almost everything should go in. He was also insanely fast and his dribbling was amazing. I am a player who likes to use body feints and step overs a lot so the 3 star skills didn't bother me too much, although it was annoying at times. He felt insanely rapid and very good on the ball. Would easily recommend.

I have been saving a lot of packs and was using only untreadables and I managed to pack david out of a ligue 1 three player pack, at first I was disappointed because of the lights I cannot lie I wanted an actual toty but after 12 games I can tell you I do not care anymore, because this david is actually really really good.

I used him in a 41212 as a left striker next to Abedi pele and messi from behind, I also used him as a lone striker in a 4231 for 4 games to test him out alone up front and he did not dissapoint at all. Scoring 17 goals in 12 games I managed to finish my weekend league at 16-4 and he was the star player outshining everyone else, He was the type of player that I did not feel the need to sub off at any time and did not feel like I was struggling to just keep him in the team and this just indicates to me that he is amazing. So I will leave you with the pros and cons from the games I played bellow and I have to say if you are missing a striker or want to test out a new player, this David is the guy for you. Specially considering his pirce because it is so good for what he offers. And that 87 overall is just the fakest number I have ever seen, he feels like a player that is in the high 90s in game not that overall matters that much anyways.

just insane not much to say. bought him for like 100k and he is a damn game changer! better than my mid eto and rooney. im never seen somebody with this good attack postioning ingame. if you play much with long passes he is your guy!!!

I packed mans out of a Ligue 1 upgrade pack and like a lot of the other reviews I've seen, I was disappointed. Obviously an Mbappe or Messi or even a Marquinhos might've done my team a little better but the pack weight is terrible. Anyways, my club was at a crossroads with Fraud9 (baby R9) and my attack definitely needed a solution. I tried David in place of R9 in my weekend league matches this past weekend and my days what a stud he is. I have also attached my in game formation for reference. That being said, let's get into the review. For reference, all opinions were made using an engine chem style.

Pace

With 94 pace as a base stat I decided to boost it a bit with an engine. He doesn't feel absolutely rapid but he is quite fast. No complaints really but he isn't as fast as your Mbappes of the world.

Shooting

Shooting is definitely where David shines. With a 5 star weak foot, 94 finishing, 91 composure and 90 shot power this man sends rockets. We'll get into dribbling in a bit but I do want to say here that he turns just a little slow due to his average body type, BUT it doesn't matter for me. Often times he'd barely complete a full turn but with pressure coming sometimes you just gotta air it out. Left foot, right foot, off balance, or falling down it doesn't matter he's putting it top bins. For around 90k I'd say a striker with glitched shooting like this is an absolute bargain.

Passing

His passing is quite good. With an engine he has no issues with link up play. He'll make a solid pass at the top of the box and make that lethal run in for an easy 1 touch finish. I'd rate it 10/10 for what I expect from a striker given my play style.

Dribbling

Nothing to write home about here, he's not Neymar but he's not necessarily a truck either. No 5 star skills which I know is a huge negative for skill move spammers but again, I like to play possession until an opportunity presents itself. If you need those skill moves or quick dribbling then maybe stay away? If you want a coin friendly striker with rockets for legs then fair play to you.

Defending

Lol what? Doesn't matter for a striker but he does have a high defensive work rate so he's fairly effective at applying that pressure on opposing defenses and forcing mistakes for an easy counter.

Physical

86 strength with 96 balance (engine) he doesn't get knocked off the ball too easily. Obviously if your opponent has a tank back there, maybe stay away from trying to body them. 96 Stamina he'll last you a whole 90 minutes easily and even a little bit of extra time. 96 jumping and 95 heading accuracy he's a menace on corners.

Traits

No traits other than outside the foot shot, the finesse shot trait would probably make him too OP.

Buy this card no matter what team or division you are in. I’m an elite division player and didn’t believe he was good enough to start upon first getting him but used him off the bench and boy did he make an impact. He scored 40 goals in 20 games off the bench in Fut Champs making me go 17-2. His speed and strength is so clear of anyone like him as well as great left stick dribbling. But most of all his finishing is the best I’ve used. The 5* weak foot is insane and he can score from any angle and has the best finesse shot I’ve used so far. Even if he doesn’t fit in your starting team and least buy him for a super sub. I beg of you. He now starts and plays best in a single striker formation with target man instructions, to fully use the left stick and strength.
