83 - Normal
It's an absolute crime that this card is currently 1200 coins on xbox. I put a catalyst on him (just because I think the defensive boost from shadow doesn't make a noticeable difference) and I can wholeheartedly say that he performs at the level of top cards like Varane or Van Dijk. I've yet to replace him, and I don't plan to, I can't recommend this card enough.
Pace - Feels very fast, the decent agility probably helps.
Physical - 91 jumping is super useful, strength and aggression are on-par with other CBs.
Passing - I'm sure catalyst helps, but he is able to easily make long and short passes on the ground.
Links - Not really linkable outside of the Serie A
Weak Foot - Just nitpicking at this point, but don't expect anything crazy on his left foot.
Absolutely solid backline CB. He is a must have for any starter, or maybe even ANY Serie A team!
You may look at his passing and feel reluctant to buy him, but really, I haven't got a single bad pass with him in like 10 games (as in error passes, not my terrible gameplay). He also seems to have low agility, but I say: "Embrace it!" Not every player is perfect, but he's damn close!
I play him as right CB in a 4-1-2-1-2 narrow. I use him on the right unlike Kjaer, since he has better passing. I also use Sentinel on him, 81 pace is more than enough personally. An Anchor is also good, but I wouldn't suggest Shadow, you need the strength and jumping for him.
I don't use any special instructions with him, as he has L/W workrate anyway.
- The Wok in defence
- Already good pace
- 6'2" and 99 jumping with sentinel
- good workrate
- $heap
- Good composure
- Sub-par passing (don't really feel it tho)
- DO NOT DRIBBLE WITH HIM PLEASE
- Kinda low stamina, but he's a CB so its OK
- Somewhat hard to link in teams with multiple leagues
