Player Review

I completed this card as an Inter fan, i sold all my tradeable cards for him, and he confirmed the expectations.

Insane player: fast, agile and really good passing.

I played him for my "road to Elite", and he was good in very position (LM, RM, LW, RW, CAM, ST), the fact he has 5 stars weak foot makes him really versatile.

First of all, this is my first review, but I will try to make it detailed. I did this card for the link to De Vrij, though I did not need the link in the end. As he's in the Serie A and is Croatian, links to the top meta cards are somewhat limited (he's not French or Ligue 1), but for anyone who has a Serie A squad, this card is very good in several positions. I used him mainly in Rivals/Champs quals as an LM or LWB in the 3-4-1-2 formation, but his versatility allowed me to use him at LW and ST for about 1/3 of the games. I would not recommend using him at LW since he's quite tall. However, he is very good at ST, LWB, and even CM (some YouTube videos I watched had him at CM). I was most impressed by his shooting, passing, dribbling (considering his height), and physicality. On the other hand, attributes that let him down were his height, stiffness in situations, and pace (not bad just a tad bit slow). However, these aren't a big deal unless you use him out wide or you are in bad connection. As for chem styles, use a Hawk for ST, use an Engine for LW/RW, and use a Guardian for more defensive positions like CM/LM/RM. Overall, he's a very good utility player item that is more than amazing in many positions with his recently received 3rd upgrade.

I had some fodder left in the club, and i thought "why not?", plus that he is bound to get at least a +2 upgrade. After using him in the weekend league and a couple of divisions matches (26 total matches on the card) i can't say exactly how i feel about him. While his pace, dribbling and shooting are very good, as expected, he feels rather slow in some situations and is very inconsistent: some matches he carries the attack all by himself, outruns any defender, plays insane through balls, makes the right runs, opens up the defense, while in other games he misses green timed 1 on 1 chances and has the first touch and ball control of a bus. Overall, considering his price and potential upgrades, I'd say he is worth it, despite the inconsistency
