93 - TOTS
Finesse shots and dribbling. The passes this man makes to my R9 is unreal. Starts attacks and ends the same one.
Finesse shots
Passing
Over the top threw balls
Ability to play everywhere along the attack
Pace
Dribbling
No real cons
Using this guy up front alongside Kane (everyone on full chem in linked team), I thought he was going to bring the missing ingredient from my team and shower me in it. I could not be much further from the truth.
Don't get me wrong, this card isn't dead awful. It just... isn't the Fekir you'd expect. We all know his other card was Godly, but I think it was simply ahead of the curve. This one does not have any of the game-breaking ball retention of his UEL RTTK card, nor does it have the same finishing capacity, pace or agility to make your opponents put their controllers through their screens.
Admittedly, we are at a stage where every CB has 99 pace, so it's not surprising that he isn't quick enough to beat people, but when Harry Kane is capable of surging past the same defenders, you have to wonder if EA have decided to bait people into choosing Fekir as a red pick. De Tomas is looking like a viable option right now... Fekir TOTS just doesn't cut it. He's not bad, he just isn't that good.
If you need to get Fekir to link in Canales (highly recommended card by the way), Kounde etc., then go for it. If you can get someone else in his place, do that instead. Alternatively, give him a go in CAM or LW/RW and see how he is.
As an out-and-out striker, not recommended.
Is a relatively OK card.
Should be much more than "relatively ok".
A backwards step from his UEL RTTK card.
