After using Messi for 10 games i think i can make a good review from him. He is simply the best gold card i haved used, i have used CR7 and Messi. Based on the meta that is passing and dribble, Messi y simply best than CR7. His shooting is unbelievable, his passing is another class, his dribbling 100/10, sprint speed is ok/good, and his acceleration is another level. If you have the coins and the links buy him. AWESOME!!!

I have been trading to 1 mil coins so that I can buy Messi and a decent squad around him, after about 40 games in div 2- div 3 I have to say this is the most fucked card I have ever used. I have grinded futdrafts and have used all the top players Mbappe, Neymar, Ronaldo,.... but this card is a glitch. Messi's dribbling is so smooth you can just hold R1 move left right left right and break ankles, not only that but his acceleration is fucked if you do a fake turn to the left then go right and just run with him, the defender is gone. Now onto the good stuff, bare in mind I am on PC and I have been using him after the recent patch, let me tell you the honest truth, the patch didn't do jack shit, Messi finesse shots are still a cheat code, there is literally no way to stop them if you hit with enough power. I see no difference in his finesse shots outside the box between pre-patch and post-patch. I am glad they finally made Messi play in game as he does irl, dropping defenders and hitting insane shots. 10/10 card, if you have the coins I recommend buying, if you don't, I recommend selling your entire team to buy him.

So I've been getting 'kind of' lucky with my pack pulls and one of those draws has been Messi (untradeable). I already run a Prem-La Liga-Hybrid so it was hard to fit him in at first, until I started to sort of give up on having every player on full chem (screw you OCD). So here I am running Messi on 8 chem and holy smokes he is absolutely cranked. I play on PC and almost every game feels incredibly sluggish, but not anymore now that he is on my team. I put him in as my 2nd striker, next to Sterling in a 3-5-2 with RTTK Fekir being the CAM (used to be the other striker). Every run Messi makes, every pass coming from his foot and every touch is just so relieving. That's the biggest change that I've noticed. I, personally, just feel so much more relaxed knowing that I am using a player that will actually respond to the input from my controller and player who always seems to find an open space anywhere on the field. The only instructions I gave him was to stay central and the runs that he makes are just incredible. Also, in tight 1v1 situations, if you have even the slightest opportunity to pass the ball off with a defender pressuring you non-stop, Messi won't crack. And don't even get me started on his shot. That thing just comes off so effortlessly. When he is even only somewhat clear on goal, just press the damn button and he'll probably score. This card is absolutely insane and I highly recommend it to anyone who can somehow afford him!

Packed this goat from 500 assists day 2. After playing over 100 games with him I can say that he is absolutely unreal. Played him at right striker in either a 4222 442 or 41212(2) alongside Haaland, Lewa, Chiesa, Ben Yedder, Luis Diaz and Malen. He plays quite well alongside a taller and stronger player because he is quite short so having a powerhouse alongside him is very good. Messi is very good. The pace feels amazing with hunter chem style even on 7 chem. His dribbling is so clean he sticks to the ball. Shooting is so consistent on both feet and finesse shots are absolutely insane. He also has good passing. The only down side to this card his the physical and the height depending on your play style.

I was able to get Messi with some luck and fifa points. I packed some decent players (Rashford, De jong, Valverde etc) and sold them for the coins to get Messi. I had packed Hakimi to link with him and used that link for 8 games. After that I got otw hakimi and sold the normal to improve the squad. But now to the review. Messi in an animal in game. He turns so quick and turns defences into ashes. His shooting is amazing and he can shoot with both feet. His passing is outstanding and he rarely misplaces a pass. His dribbling is just phenomenal. He turns Varane into a potato. His acceleration is crazy. Sometimes he gets caught because of the sprint speed but its not a problem. For physicality, hes weak. If you have the money, just get him already.
