Versatile Early Game Beast

Phenomenally versatile player for 13k (Sept 25th price). Incredible centre back early game, always great to have a left footed player to play on the left of a 2 or a 3 back, Alaba is perfect in both spots. He really needs a shadow to help his recovery speed but anchor could also work.

I actually use him as my left CM in a 4231 on stay back and he’s phenomenal - one of the first names on the team sheet. His tackling and interceptions are great - he’s always occupying the right space and get’s back to help out the back 4. He feels good on the ball and his passing does the job, he’s even chipped in with a few goals. I play him alongside Barella and they're a fantastic tandem, winning it back and keeping the ball moving.

He’s physically strong enough and the stamina hasn’t been a huge issue for me so far, even in midfield.

He’s a must have if you’re building a La Liga squad. RTFM Nick rates him over Kounde and Militao at centre back too - so he’s out performing his price.
