Elegant CDM

I used Witsel in FUT21 and I was in love with the guy. So I decided to give him a try in 22. The guy is an amazing marshal of the midfield. His height and body type allows him to intercept balls with relartive ease. He wins aerial battles and a is good target for keeper's goal kicks against teams applying pressure. I basically send him a driven lobbed ball from my keeper and he chests it down far from my goal no matter who is challenging him. With Artist chemstyle he is an elegant dribbler, and an amazing passer of the ball. with Agility and Dribbling stats in the high 80's, he is very smooth, and performs very well when Agile Dribbling. Once he shakes a challenge or two, he is free to play a pinpoint pass to a winger or the other CM's in my team.

Some would say it is a bad card because of the weird obsession with PACE! He doesn't need it. His job doesn't require him to chase people down the wing, or go on a goal hunt. If your team is positioned properly, he will be in the middle of it all, rarely will he have to sprint. I personally don't sprint with him, and I never found it to be an issue.

He is not slow, but he is not a speed demon. And honestly, I don't why would anyone want to sprint around with their CDM.
