I am a big Dybala Fan, not just in Fifa also in Reallife. So i decided to try him in one of my Fifa 22 Starter Squads and i have to say, im impressed.
As a Striker Dybala is fire, he is not feeling like 84 Pace at all - he feels way faster. His finishing is good, not insane, nothing special. Also an important point: every finesse longshot from paulo is a goal, probably because longshots are broken currently. Overall a well rounded Player, with his 86 Passing hes also a pretty decent Playmaker. 100% worth the coins.
1 of the worst things with dybala tho, is his Stamina, Medium/Medium Work Rates with 70 Stamina are not a good combo, you have to sub him out in the 70th min.
This guy is probably going to be the closest thing we get to a messi under 50k. He really lives up to the name. I used him as a CAM in a 41212(2) with hunter chem style on 10 chem, stay forward as his instructions. All games played between div 5 and div 4.
Out of all the players I have used in this game (I have hella reviews in the past 2 days just to show i guess) he probably has the best value for money out of anyone. His dribbling is impeccable, so smooth and is definitely the closest dribbling to Messi I have used so far (yes i have used Messi), but I haven't touched any icons yet so idk about them. His passing is also really accurate, especially his first time passes and his R1 + x passes. Finesse shots are to be abused with this card. If you take anything from this review, take this: SHOOT FINESSE SHOTS FROM OUTSIDE THE BOX WITH DYBALA. Do it for your own good. He is incredible at them, almost never misses the top corner. His inside the box finishing is good, but when I used Dybala I didn't fully figure out how to score inside the box, so I can't judge that fully. His pace is good enough for a cam, and from what I have played against also good enough for striker, yet he is no pace demon. Only negatives I would say is that he is weak and gets tired pretty quickly, but that is expected considering he is really small and nimble in game, it is part of the Dybala package. I recommend you have a solid substitution for him as I think he should be subbed off by the 70-75 mins. This meta really suits him and I fully recommend to get him if you can.
Passing very accurate
Value for money is insane, plays like a 300k card
Stamina, should have a solid sub for him
Weak foot isn't the best, he can still score with his right foot inside the box, but I wouldn't recommend shooting outside the box with his weak foot, also passing is fine with weak foot
This man is a cheap version of Messi. His high dribbling and shooting stats fit the game's meta to a tee, with his finesse shot going in 9/10 times when green timed. I use him as a cam in the 4231 formation and damn did he perform for me. I sped through the divisions using Dybala and recommend him for anyone looking for a cheap meta beast.
Pace (with hunter)
3* weak foot
Hello, one and all. Have you missed me?
I know it isn’t creative reviewing the same player every year, and you would rather some other person who actually critiques the player within the game, so you know where to spend the small fortune of £20k, but alas, if you have even made it this far, welcome.
I normally start with a diatribe about the state of the game, about how bad the gameplay is, the op players, Dembele, etc, but I thought I would sprinkle this in throughout instead.
As you know full well by now, people in FIFA 22 are divided into 2 camps. Rats, and non-rats. If you use French players, you are basically admitting you want to take responsibility for passing the plague to us (Don’t @ me with all this “the rats didn’t give people plague, it was the fleas” rubbish, its an loose analogy). Lest you dare corrupt us most pure of heart, with our Morata’s and Weghorst's. Though shall not submit to Mendy, Mpabbe, KIMPEMBE, Fekir (Christ) and the Rat King.
So, Dybala. I was fortunate to afford him straight off the bat, and power through many, quite frankly embarrassing players. Every year the player base loses a few more brain cells on the core fundamentals of the game, but for this year, we were treated to the dreaded finesse outside the box shot. It really ruined my clean sheet hype. Winning 6-1 isn’t half as satisfying as 6-0. Dybala is what he has always been, an agile, responsive, sometimes clinical shooter with an eye for a pass. Even through EA’s poorly veiled attempts to render the Y ball obsolete, apart from those maddening defense splitting passes that dissect the very core of your center backs. 79 composure is one thing to keep an eye on, as he does tend to ‘shank’ some very presentable opportunities. Much like a man getting treated in the local pub WC by a very generous acquaintance he bonded with over a pint of Aspalls cider, and instead of accepting the invite to continue the festivities round at their house, with a cup of tea and a ginger nut from Waitrose, turns around and informs them “ tbf, I probably need to get back, I haven’t finished my 7 div rival wins this week yet”. SHANK.
Fine, his attributes:
Pace- Slower than Dan James
Shooting- Much better than Dan James
Dribbling- Quite a bit better than Dan James
Passing- C’mon, does that even need saying
Defending- Worse than Dan James
Physical- Both are as weak as bread soaked in the tears of the 10 year olds who have grinded for months to reach the FUT qualification games, only to lose all 9 games with an aggregate score of 43-2.
Overall then, would I recommend using Dybala. Let me create a flow chart to help you decide:
Do you use French Players- YES- Get lost, and don’t forget to downvote the review, Ta x
Do you use French Players- No:
Do you have a basic prem team with Son- Yes- Reassess your life goals and get back to me
Do you have a basic prem team with Son- No:
Do you want to have fun while using players that EA provide us through the various promos, that are more niche, and not necessary meta, but enriches your overall enjoyment of a game, which, lets be frank, is a chore 90% of the time- No- Revert to question 1’s answer.
Do you want to have fun while using players that EA provide us, that are more niche, and not necessary meta, but enriches your overall enjoyment of a game, which, lets be frank, is a chore 90% of the time- Yes- CONGRATS, Dybala is the sexy man for you.
I hope I have successfully wasted a couple of minutes of your time today, but before you go, I implore, nae, Beg you take a quick look at my profile on Futbin. I say account, but it is more akin to a shrine to the mythical beast Michael Tonge. If you have wasted this much time, watching his fulminating strike vs Sheffield Wednesday surely isn’t too much to ask.
Goodnight, and God bless (all none meta abusing French players)
Never did a review my entire Futbin-Time, but this man right here is so amazing for me, that i just have to review him. In the latest FIFA's he never hold up to my expectations and didnt feel so good, but this year this card is probably distributing to some guys smashing there controllers. He nets every game, feels so good on the ball, is able to pass and with a hunter can outrun most of the defenders and is also able to score every chance given to him. EVEN WITH HIS RIGHT FOOT! You heard it right, with 3* WF i was a little bit worried that he will just feel like the last FIFA's for me, but no. His shooting is always good, no matter the foot. I play him in a full serie a squad, where he either plays as a Striker with Arnautovic in a 4-2-2-2 or 4-4-2 or as a CAM in 4-2-3-1, depending which formation works the best in game. So far he is, alongside RTTK Fekir, the best CAM i have used so far.
-even the WF is a Pro, i dont even know how
-Good Linkability (Argentina, Juve)
-Stamina, but its not a Con for me because i sub him out for Fekir in the 70th minute
-his corner kicks are kind of whack, i dont know
