Incredible striker. Up front is 100% his best position. Tried him at CAM and he does not turn quick enough for that, and with his shooting he has to play as close to the goal as possible. The skills are very silky. In bad gameplay you can 100% feel the body type effect his turning. But overall incredible card and worth the price.

First of all, I have to say that I am not a native english speaker, so if I have any mistake, I am sorry for that.

I am an elite division player and usually I reach rank 4 in fut champions. I used him in a 4222 with Pele prime.

I have to start saying that I packed him in the icon pick that EA gave us for the moments bug, and OMG, in fifa 21 I packed his mid version and I loved it, he became a lengend in my club, and this year I was so exited to try him, and he didn't dissapointed me, he is awesome.

Firstly, I have to talk about his shooting, it's incredible, wherever, whenever or however you shoot with him, the ball will go inside the net, it's true that he don't have the finisse shot trait, but he doesn't need it, shot power feels like 99 or even more, I really think that ingame he has 5 stars weak foot.

His pace is great, I thought that he will be slower, but no, he runs much faster than expected. Obviously, he is not as fast as mbappe or vinicius but he won't dissapoint you.

If we talk about dribbling it's a little bit clunky but the 5 star skills are lovely, personally tall players with skills are really fun to use, and in my opinion, their skills are way more effective, doing cancel shot is very good too, and his ball control is much better than expected of a 6,2" player.

His passing is very good, I used his as striker but in CAM it will be good too, doing fast passing attack is an effective player, 96 composture will make him passing or even shooting in many oportunities, I tried crossing with him too but I use Pele prime at the other striker so I didn't make assists with crosses.

In defense he helps very much, wit his 92 physical steals many balls, and his headers are awesome, the combo 92 in jumping and heading accuarcy makes him letal.

In physicality he is a monster, anyone can make him fall, this helps very much in dribble and defend, it's difficult to the rivals to steal a ball from him and not many player can compete in this ambit. His stamina hold all the match, 120 minutes even.

He's a very big (high and average body type) player. I got him out of an icon SBC and fitted him in my team alongside mid Eusebio (which i had got previously from another icon SBC). He replaced the 2nd striker, where I have used before Gabriel Jesus Ice card and Mbappé. I play with a custom tactic in game, 3-5-2, Chalobah drops to CB, Cancelo and Jorginho as CDM, Neymar as CAM, Paqueta on the left, Hakimi on the right, Eusebio and Cantona up front. Only tradable player is Cancelo TOTY.

Obviously I felt a very big difference, going from shorter pace merchants like Mbappé and Jesus to Cantona. On one hand, if you like fast turning to open spaces, King Eric is definitely NOT the man for you. As I also felt we wasn't for me. On another hand, he added physicality and heading to my attacking arsenal, which was nice, since Hakimi and Paqueta are often open to take good crosses. He also shoots very well and rarely misses a pass. 5* skills is good, but he is not very agile despite Engine chemistry (because of the big body). He can hold the ball, it's very difficult for the defender to tackle him, which has enabled me to assist Eusebio's runs more (basically, Cantona assists more and scores less than my previous strikers). Another nice thing was he allowed me to sell IF Mbappé before another likely IF Mbappé comes, saving me from losing coins and allowing me to invest in trading. I got used to using him, my overall team results actually improved with Cantona over IF Mbappé 92 despite him scoring less goals, the team is scoring more goals.

I must say, if I was spending 2M on an icon, I'd never get him though. Eusébio, Eto'o, baby Pele are better options for the average FIFA player. As for non-icon players,there are LOADS much cheaper and more fun to play with. As he came in an icon SBC, where i've got shitty player after shitty player, I'm very happy. Btw I'm 2 for 11 in icon SBCs (Eusebio and Cantona out of 11 tries). Don't do icon SBCs if you're looking for valuable players, you need a lot of luck.

He just wasn't it - can't explain it but I saved up some coins and bought him in for base gold ronaldo in a 4231 and 442 next to WW Zaha and I just couldn't make him work. Had a hunter on him for max pace but he couldn't break away from defenders (even with his strength) and I am someone who loves a little skill run and I couldn't make it happen with King Eric either. This being said his shooting on that strong foot is mad but the four star weak foot felt 4 star and not a hidden five star like some high shooting players.

Listen its very possible that he just wasn't for my style of play and I wasn't good enough to get value for coins out of him (I'm div 2 - rank 5 fut champs kinda player) but I'm going to take my coins and try mid eusebio next i think.
