I completed the sbc because I used Mahrez special and IF cards in previous fifas and really liked them. He is qucik has good shooting and dribbling, 5*/4* and can link with prem+man city which is really good especially this year. The easiest is to compare him directly to di maria. He is basically slower and weaker but more agile on the ball. The problem is with this years powercreep he is not that great. Not bad but when everyone uses WC hero Owairan, Smolarek, Mbappe he is just not on that level.

(Played with Hunter chem style) Did him for fun as I support City and I'm very suprised as to how good he was for me. I used him as a RAM in the 4-2-2-2 for champs (and a bit of Rivals) and finished higher than I usually do, he scored 21 goals and got around 7 assist in 36 games. He feels way faster than his stats suggest (feels like 92 base pace) and his shooting from distance is phenomenal, green time finesse shots from just outisde the corner of the box is basically a guaranteed goal and I'm sure that he can do the same on the left with a trivela.
Around 10 of his goals came from Pens and FKs.

First of all I want to start with the price of this card... Premier League tax and Mahrez (very hyped and fun card) tax. 300K for a card thats basically very very close to being already outdated and not relevant. Do not get me wrong, there is a lot to love about the card, basically dribling comparable to okocha, which is very high tier, very good shooting especially for a CAM or RW position and the passing is just lovely (my most favorite thing after the dribling of this card). But then there is the pace, 88 is just kinda low, especially at this point of the fifa when most of the wingers, strikers and cams already are 90 pace higher. On the other hand he is explosive and with high acceleration (which is more important for attacking positions in my opinion). Another nice thing is that you can play him as a CAM and RW + he is usable as an ST if you change him in game. All possible and good options. He brings something to every position I just mentioned. As a winger, you can use his very good passing and crossing with explosive acceleration. On striker position you can use his broken animations, amazing dribling and good shooting. And on CAM you get good shooting from longer distances and very good passing. So lot of options here, card is also super fun and very smooth on ball with his dribling. As already mentioned, I love his passing, which is top notch but my main problem with him is the price. At this stage of FIFA that is just too much for card with his stats, even when considered how fun he is and that he is from PL. I did this SBC because I love Mahrez in FIFA and I completed the SBC for free with a lot of fodder and yet it just didnt feel right. He is going to be outdated very soon and honestly when compared to SBCs like Di Maria who is basically just like him (maybe even better) but literally for half the price, then Mahrez just seems to be like extra overpriced.
conclusion - please for your own sake and sanity, dont do it. Its very overpriced because it hyped an fun card and also from PL. He feels good and fun but the stats are too low at this point of FIFA and especially when considering the price of the SBC. If it would be 150k then yes, but 300k is a big NO. Pretty soon we might get much better SBCs that are going to be priced bettter.
