I always loved Bale and I've got a lot of fodders, so I decided to do his SBC and just use him in a fun squad, where I don't look much at chemistry. I switch the formation ingame to a 4-3-2-1 and use Bale as a ST with 1 chemistry (in the linked squad, I forgot the welsh manager, who gave him 1 point there). Many of my friends use squads without full chem (they play in Div1-4), so I tried it out for myself (I play in Div4) and I really can't feel a difference to my main squad (with full chemistry). I played 10 matches as I wrote this review (all in rivals) and I won 8 of them. Bale feels just great, he got a superb ball control, nice dribbling and very strong short and long shots. The only downside I explored was his pace, because he feels way slower then his card is showing you, even with a Hunter, but that is "okay", when you learn how to use him (as a finisher or a playmaker with offensive abilites). Another downer was his stamina, so I needed to switch him out around 75+ minutes, but that can be connected to my fast passing playstyle maybe. In these 10 games, he scored 14 goals and gave 10 assists, what is very good and also unexpected, because I thought he wouldn't shine that much in case of the low chemistry. When you got the fodders and want some fun, you should do him - I had much fun and way more fun than with my main team (what is a bit sad, but okay). I will try him out more and maybe edit this review, if its possible.

Possibly one of the best super subs I've used in this FIFA. Usually I sub him on during the 2nd half at RW in a 433 flat. His pace late in the game makes him a massive threat on the wing, and his passing, shooting and dribbling make him a potent player late in the game. He is also insane at corners, his 99 heading stat has allowed him to score numerous goals from corners stealing wins from late game corners.

By far, this is one the best card I've tried this year. He's fast, he scores, his shots are stunning... 6 matches played, 7 goals and 4 assist with 0 of chemistry.
His pace is unbelievable and that 90 of strenght helps him A LOT... He bullied Theo Hernandez and Militao TOTY, Cancelo, Walker, Mendy... No one was able to stop him.
The shot is crazy: powerful and precise like his swings on a golf court (I don't need to add anything else).
The price is very low for what he did in game, the only bad thing are the links because that mf of Chiellini Winter Wildcards is extinct on the market and I need him to have Bale with 3 of chemistry.
I tried him as RW and I loved him, but you can easily use him as ST in game. Trust me, as ST is an absolute BEAST.
Pace: Theo Hernadez TOTY is still trying to catch him.
Shot: I was worried for the goalkeepers' hands, he litterally smashed them.
Physical: 90 of strenght makes him The Rock with the Usain Bolt's feet.
Tackles: He always fight for the ball and 90% of the time he get it.

Gareth bale is a club legend for me he has instant power shots and some insane passing. It doesn't feel like he's lacking in speed and his dribbling is great plus 72 defending for a rw? and that 90 strength aint bad too. after that week foot upgrade he's one of the best I play him on 3 chem with a chilling link and a welsh manager.

When this card dropped i was so happy because First of all i am a Madrid fan and second he was for such a cheap price so i did his sbc. Although he was hard to link i just used a wales manager and got him one chem. after using him for a bit with an engine i decided to use a hunter and that was when he was at his best. he would just run through defenders like it was nothing and then would just bang goals for fun. overall really fun card if you can get him on at least 1 chem

As a Spurs fan, i was super gassed to see Bale honored by having a cheap, affordable SBC.
I knew it as going to be a struggle getting him into a team on full chem without using Chiellini, Donovan or Dempsey. This may be one of the reasons he didn't feel great.
I had used his other special card and honestly that felt better, overall disappointing.
