Marco van Basten is a complete striker. His absolute strength is shooting, marked by a score of 96, but his finishing with 99 is brutally strong. When he gets a shot, the ball is in the goal. No matter with the right or the left. His 5 stars weak foot help him to make the goal from any position. His volleys are also striking (also 99). He makes the goals after crosses spectacularly with side kicks or bicycle kicks. But he is also successful with his head, thanks to a header accuracy of 95 in combination with a height of 188cm and 87 bounce. His speed of 92 (with engine) and strength of 83 allow him to win many sprint duels against defenders. Despite his size of 188cm he controls the ball very well in the drill. He has only 3 star skills, but simple oversteps are often enough for him to overcome the defense. However, there are a few flaws, such as his passing. Especially with steep passes into the depth van Basten has his problems. Beyond that, he unfortunately only has med/med work rates. That's why he lacks presence in the offense, especially on the counterattack. 

Conclusion: Marco van Basten is the ultimate striker who can turn every chance into a goal. But he is less suited as a playmaking striker. But he can decide every game.

Recommendation: I recommend Marco van Basten to anyone who is looking for absolute goal guarantee without executing beautiful dribbles/skills before that. 

Tips: Bring crosses on him and use the classic overstep. Use another teammate as a CAM.
