Not your RB...

I've had Reece James coming out of a "little" pack with just 2 rare gold players, so I was pretty lucky.

I was thrilled when seeing this guy, because at the moment I'm on a tight budget and I thought he would be a massive upgrade in my RB department.

When looking at his stats, I thought he would combine the pros of my last two RBs.

The pace and agility of WC Frimpong and the strength of Showdown Meunier.

That's why I revised my team and bought TOTY Koulibaly and did FB Havertz to fit Reece James (with Shadow chem-style) into my team.

Boy was I wrong...

It's the complete opposite of my expectations, because he combines the cons of both cards mentioned above.

He feels as clunky as Meunier and as weak and short as Frimpong.

Long story short: don't buy him for whatever the price may be!

Defending: sliding and standing tackling are superb
Crossing: he did initiate many chances with exact crosses
Workrates: high/high is perfect for my playing style

Agility: can't turn at all
Height & Jumping: lost ALL duels for headers
Acceleration: very bad, even if it sais 96 with Shadow-chem (even got outpaced by 89 John Barnes several times during one game!)

The beast James

I packed him and later I packed Trippier too. I tried them and James destoyed Trippy, I felt him faster and physically superior, he makes good passes and sometimes he could be used to make an skill. I didn't tryed him at MCD, but it looks good. At RB, if you can put him into your team, make it. Good luck :D

Broken card in a good way

Bought him in the beginning of Fifa 23. Seemed like a decent card for a few months.He is still in my starter squad. I have tried gold Walker, Cancelo and some other RB's. Also TOTT Dalot and PTG Walker in drafts(both on full chem) a few games.I still prefer Reece James on my main squad. Walker for example feels too clunky.Reece feels faster than the 81 pace on his card. Thanks to good dribbling and 85 strength he doesn't feel...

very mediocre

i play on old gen. I sold vini because i just wanted to try out some fun players so i bought james. He just was very mediocre he was never the best but also not the worst. When i first used him i used him i just him as a rw in a 433(2) and a cf in a 4321 out wide. I thought he was wasted on the wing to after that i used him as a st in a 4231.
