Player Review

86 - World Cup TOTT
4.5
Top Quality Keeper
By EdBennett, 23-12-2022

Got him untradeable and since I already have Amrabat (who's also brilliant for the price) and 2 LaLiga Heroes, thought he'd be worth a shot.

Was very surprised, he's actually fantastic and probably my favourite keeper so far. Only other contender is IF Donnarumma, who plays a very similar style to Bounou.

His biggest asset is by far his reflexes- he's super reactive and fantastic at dealing with close range shots, power-shots or low-driven ones. Immense reflexes and absolutely smothers players when he rushes out of goal. Diving is also very good, saves most long-shots or finesse shots but does get caught out occasionally.

Only real downside is distribution- he has a decent throw on him but his goal kicks are less than brilliant. Other than that though he's been surprisingly amazing. You won't find better for the price.

  • Reflexes are insane- so reactive
  • Very good handling- doesn't spill the ball often
  • Smothers players when sweeping out
  • Good throwing
  • Decent height
  • Great dive on him
  • Occasionally lets in silly finesse shots from 35 yards, but not often
  • Distribution could be better
  • Links are somewhat difficult if you don't have any other Moroccans

Not bad keeper

Sorry for my bad EnglishI bought this player for my Ian Rush try (because I really liked his stats). This goalkeeper can both save your game (mostly) and concede almost any shot on target (1/10 of matches i've played). His height is pretty good to make an awesome saves. For this price, it's above average card to play, but hard to link with Moroccan cards.
