Sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe shit

In a nutshell, he's solid enough. Anything that requires him to dive, he'll save.

Longshots, powershots, finesse shots you name it, he'll save it. Very acrobatic and reactive when it comes to diving. Also great when facing any kind of cross, either from open play or a deadball, as he catches the ball almost every time.

However, he does have one major weakness and that is his close-range reflex saves. I've previously used IF Donnarumma, base Neuer and Ter Stegen, and Yassine Bounou (Cheap beast); all have been very good in close-range 1v1s, sweeping out and making their frame huge to block shots.

Cech however, is almost guaranteed to let the ball in the net in these situations. I'd highly recommend not sweeping him out of goal, as instead of making his frame big, he shrinks his frame and lets the ball fly past him- very disappointing.

For this reason, he's a solid but not amazing keeper. I'm a bit broke coins wise and got him untradeable, so I use him for the versatility he provides, but if it wasn't for this then I definitely would not be using him.

If you defend deep, he's probably great as naturally your opponent will be shooting from further out, but if you play a high press then less so as your keeper will need to do a lot more than just stand between the posts.
