91 - Flashback SBC
Completed this sbc right before weekend league started, unsure of how he would perform. He did not disappoint, and was a huge reason for my best ever performance in the weekend league. I finish 18-2, and got rank 2. I needed a good link with Mbappe, and Ramos provided that.
His defense is extremely good, and is one of the most automatic center backs I have every used. His work rates are no problem, as he is fast enough to get back in defense. His aggression paired with the interception makes him read the play very good. He cuts passing lanes, and pushes of the attacker if necessary. His defense inside the box is top tier, and blocks every shot coming his way. Pace is great, even with low sprint speed. He catches up to Mbappe on the counter attacks, then pushes him off the ball. He is unlike any other center back I have tried.
Over to the cons with this card. Ramos is quite short, and will therefore loose some heading duels, even with 97 jumping. Stamina is also low, especial when you look at the work rates. He will be tired in extra time, and feel a lot slower. Also completed this card to score more corners, but EA changed the corner system, and made it more difficult to score on them. He can still win some headers, but the jumping and heading stats seems more wasted now. The price is also a little bit too high, but with fodder from champs and toty packopening he shouldn't be too expensive to do.
Overall really happy with this card. He was one of my favorite players when growing up, and a therefore I had to do him. In general this card is like I expected : Fast, strong, but a little bit overpriced. Would still recommend doing him if you need a good center back for your team.
