Lacks defending somehow

Packed him, as my first TOTY, yesterday. Expected him to be OP with the price and stats. Paired him with an anchor chem-style, as I didn't have shadow, and he was on two chem. Started a few rivals games with him (Div 2). Accidentally had made a new team, so played 4-4-2 by mistake. Still got 4-0-1 in record. Didn't notice anything wrong with him, played competently. Started playing my weekend league qualifications games, with a 4-2-2-2 formation. Pace was good, but couldn't block shots for his life somehow. Had a hard time to get the ball from Mbappe and Al-Owairan. Might be that I had input lag because game felt really slow some games, or he might suck. Suspecting the former. Have to try him more yet. Changed to a 4-3-3(2) formation and got more stabile.

Honestly, I expected much more from this this daddy of a card.He looks like a TOTS Akinfenwa in defence with decent jockey speed but he really likes to avoid playing on the side of possession, I noticed he swaps sides alot with my Varane which is kind of a let down since I wanted to make use of his 5* weakfoot on the left side.
