Somehow got one of the GOATs out of the 88+ icon pack (I've accepted I'm extremely redlisted). I knew he wouldn't be a game changer for me because all my good untradeables are attacking players but I knew I had to get him into the side somehow. He has performed very well for me and his dribbling is dream-like, just glides with the ball is almost impossible to tackle if you know how to use the right stick. His pace isn't gamebreaking or anything and his finishing has been a little bit of a letdown because of his 82 shot power, but he always seems to be able to get it done when I need him to. His animations are top-tier and he is worth every penny just based on the fact that it's Johan Cruyff, a very meta player. I only put 4.5 stars on value for money because for 1.8 million coins I think PTG Nkunku is the better option, he's been the best player in my squad even with Zidane and Cruyff being added to it, but it is also a nightmare trying to get Nkunku onto full chemistry without using a Leipzig player.
IMO if you don't time your shots with Cruyff, you'll be much better off playing him as CAM or winger where he can create at will and make defenders look like cones. While I think he is one of the best players in the game, I was a little disappointed for it being my first time ever using him in a FIFA, glides past defenders but at striker he sometimes just can't get the ball best some of the better keepers in the game. 100% worth it though in my opinion and probably best to play him as a CAM or winger
- Dribbling is by far his strongest point, glides around defenders
- Passing is very good
- Pace is good, not top tier though
- Shooting is solid in the box
- 5* 5* is unreal
- Animations are top-tier
- 82 shot power needs boosting, gets a lot of shots saved if not green timed
- 81 stamina is a problem if pressing, but high/low work rates makes him stay forward which helps
- Doesn't have a lot of breakaway pace, might get caught up to by faster CBs
Completed the SBC and played 10 games w him on WL and scored 17 goals with 10 assists lmao. I slapped a hunter on him and he feels rapid as an explosive player and finishing almost everything in the box, just lethal. Dribbling smooth as butter literally glitches pass defenders and i guess this card simulates the real life version of one of the greatest players to grace the game. This card is effin broken w the 5star combo so for me its reasonable at 2m coins for one of the best cards in game.

completed his sbc and was so excited to use him at first i used hawk on him he was so insane but i wanted more pace so he can pass their fast defenders so slapped a hunter on him
and it was even better.i tried both gold and if mbappe and i will say cruyff felt so much better he finishes everything and dribbling animation is unreal.
also im a big fan of him irl and having a lot of fun using him.
I highly recommend this guy to you if you have a lot of fodder do his sbc as fast as you can or buy it with coins.?

I used him in a 4-2-2-2 with haaland and he's just unreal. Best player i've used this year.
PERFECT agility and balance, his dribling is the best that i've used this year.
His shooting is also very very good. His right and left foot are deadly.
He is super fast, more than othen players that i've tried (ftb best, dinho, bernardo silva and others)
Physicaly he's also very good, just not Haaland, but really good.
The price drop after the SBC just makes everything so good
If you're about to do the SBC, just do it.
