Player Review

It's january and for me that's always the month I get bored with the meta players (Mbappe, christmas hat Payet, Jairzinho, etc) . I did the 88* icon SBC and Ruud van Nistelrooy a.k.a. Van the Man walks out. After surviving the 'OMG ITS CRUYFF OR GULLIT' heartattack, I was slightly dissapointed. But...since Van the Man is my childhood favourite striker I gave him a try in Elite division. To my surprise he is more than decent:

Pace: 8/10 Lengthy with marksman, so feels quicker than stats suggest

Finishing: 9,5/10 Very clinical, as he was in reallife. Very good positioning aswell. Only problem is the weakfoot.

Physical: 8,5/10 pretty good actually

Dribbling: 8/10 This surprised me! With Marksman it's good enough for me

Passing: 7/10 Keep it simple. It's not Pirlo.

Defending: Don't defend with him, it's not van Dijk.

To sum it up: Van Nistelrooy is not meta (duhhh) so don't expect Mbappe. If you, as I do, like taller strikers this year he might be your man. For me he is similar to Leiwa/Cantona/Benzema kind of strikers.

For me personally the best part is that opponents think 'that mf is actually playing him!?' and ragequit after conseding a hattrick;)
