Since lenghty pretty much isn't a thing anymore,

I decided to give Cordoba a try. And man he is just one of the best Centre Backs I have used this FIFA.

His pace, dribbling, defending and physical is just out of this world.

Last year, when the first fut hero upgrade came out, I just packed Cordoba. He was beast for me and my CB until his ShapeShifter card came out. This year, with Lucio, I feel like I must make a review about this beast.

First of all - the best part of this card - his tackles. no matter if it's a slide tackle, stand tackle, or even a tackle off the line - Cordoba will be there to save you. The suprising part of this card is the heders - even though he's so small, his jumping, power header trait and heading accuarcy make him a monster in the air.

Physicallity - strong enough in the game, but you need a really strong guy with him to make sure the strong kind of ST's won't go past you.

Pace - one of the fastest cb's in the game, and the fact that he's so small just makes it better. He can outpace almost every attacker and when it comes to defending he's not way worse than the best cb's in the game.

Passing - since in fifa 23 everyone just ai presses, the passing stat is so important for defenders. I would say that in short passes he's precise, but when it comes to long passes - I would not recommend trying them with Cordoba. It's just not it.

Dribbling - good enough for a defender, there's no much needed to say.

Finally - shooting, I would say that he isn't bad at bicycle kicks, and it's allways nice when a CB scores.

Cordoba is simply a beast, he plays better than Kimpembe Centurions and Maldini Prime/Mid or Base Icon. He plays centre back for me and is one of the best I have ever played. He wins most of the duels and can also convert the odd header to score from corners.

Pace:

Perfect, in the right range for a CB.

Shooting:

Just ok and good for a CB.

Passing:

Could be better. But the key stats are perfect the way they are.

Dribbling:

Feels very good in game.

Defensive:

In a perfect area with a Shadow.

Physique:

The stamina is nice and the physique overall also.
