The Gabonese General

I was lucky to get this gift of a human at a bargain of 403k, and am not looking to sell soon, even with 200k profit. This guy is insanely good, and imo better than the likes of Ronaldo and Haaland.

His shooting is broken, and if you know how to take advantage of the outside of the foot shot, the goals seem to fly in. So far I've played him in a fun 3421 with him, Al-Owairan and Salah making the front three, and him outshining them both.

I would say he has performed better for me than Ronaldo, Haaland, Dzeko and Ribery.

Now to the review of his strengths and weaknesses.

Strengths:

Shooting: Simply unmatched, both from outside of the box, on the volley or inside the box. His weakfoot is also good for the most part.

Pace: I play new gen, but also played a WL on old gen. On old gen he seems to be the best on the game, and his pace is insane. On new gen he is a a bit slower due to not being lenghty (this may change in the future), but if used right he seems to always outpace even the likes of Van Dijk and Cordoba.

Positioning: Imo the best part of this card. He has an unmatched ability to hold his runs, and doesn't get caught offside. He also seems to be in the right place for crosses, sometimes being at the 45* angle, sometimes running at the front or back post. It always seems to match my thoughts excactly.

Passing: To be honest his long passes hasn't been an issue, as i play a formation with a lot of shorter passing, with the front three never really playing long balls. Otherwise his passing is really good.

Weaknesses:

Turning: His turning is sometimes clunky, but if you use r1 dribbling effective it is better.

I haven't mentioned his dribbling as I am unsure. He is better than the other players listed in this review, but not as good as a salah for example. I would regard this as neither a pro nor con. The same for physicality, as he sometimes gets pushed off the ball, but i feel a lot of players are good in this regard.

At 600k+, his price is still worth it, and if Rbery is 800k, this guy outshines him. He is also an excellent investment opportunity with the possibility to get a +2 upgrade. If you think of getting him, i would do it now, before he upgrades.

For me he is the true African king of this game.
