89 - World Cup PTG
4.0
Jack of all trades, master of none

I, like many people, have invested in this card and made good money on him, still holding 2 of them. I am division 2 currently. I have been searching for a pairing for my stay back CDM, now WC Vieira, previously Baby Essien. In this position I have tried: OOP Perisic, Mid Seedorf, Baby Gullit, Baby Yaya, WC Marchisio, WC Park, WC Kuyt and PTG Bruno. I would probably rate him 3rd or 4th between all of these. He is good, he is an outstanding passer but unfortunately he isn't exceptional in anything else and passing is quite unreliable this FIFA. He's not silky smooth like Park and Marchisio, although he is quite agile. He's not an amazing physical presence like Yaya and Gullit, although he is strong. He is not a great attacking threat like Kuyt or Perisic, although he's decent attacking. He is better in some areas than every single on of those cards, but I guess my problem is when you pay big money for a card like you would now for him, you expect him to excel in something and be decent in the other areas, you want him to shine sometimes, whether it's a long shot, some great tackles, some great dribbles. Unfortunately, he doesn't but he's quite good at everything.

Good at everything

Not amazing at anything except maybe passing

I think this guy is the best Baller i have used in a CM/CDM position. I got this card after Brazil were knocked out and his price dropped like a rock (sorry to all Bruno holders, i'm sorry for your loss), I have been running him mostly as my more attacking CDM next to Vieira on a shadow and i have to say that he is just incredible compared to what i've been using before, which has been Schweinsteiger, IF Valverde and some others.

Now for how he differs from others. he feels quick, not as fast as Valverde, but feels much more measured and precise. He finds the ball on defense in a way that is almost similar to Vieira sometimes and just snaps it up robbing the opponent of possession multiple times per game in a way no other CM with attacking capabilities has done for me. Then once he gets the ball he is a menace when it comes to distribution and drive. He can carry it well with his 89 dribbling and very solid 85 strength, he can find balls for others with ease and he has such good movements to contribute to the buildup. From mainly right CDM in the 4231 he has amassed a great return of 10 assists and 5 goals in 19 games in div 1 and Weekend league, which is the best return i've ever had from my attacking CDM

To conclude I think Bruno feels like a card from a much higher paygrade than the measly 200K he currently sits at. He feels like he belongs next to Vieira and will probably stay there for a long time. I recently got Park in a WC Hero pack and i don't think he'll get anywhere near the team any time soon given the performances Bruno keeps putting up

i guess he could have been nice with some more skillmoves and weakfoot, even though it's almost a non issue at CDM
