Packed him untradeable and was pretty disappointed considering what else was in packs at the time, however I was very surprised by quite how good he is.

I've got UCL Bennacer, and was using WC Wijnaldum alongside in the CDM position, and whilst they're both solid, I felt I needed someone a bit more defensively oriented.

Amrabat does just that- his positioning is second to none, makes fantastic interceptions and is always in the right place a the right time. Whilst not quick, he's got enough pace to do the job and more than makes up for it with his positioning and physicality. Not the best on the ball and not the best passer, but I have some quality ball-carriers around him so for me this is not an issue at all.

If you need a physical CDM to stay back and boss the midfield, this guy is your man. If you want a more complete, box-to-box player, I'd probably recommend someone like Rabiot 86 or Wijnaldum 88- both are less good defensively but much better going forward.

Often, midlefiders in this game are very expensive, but this one is cheap and good as hell, I'm still flabbergasted by what he did in my midlefield. Ok, he ain't score goals but he's soooo good at passing. Even Stevie Wonder was shocked by what he seen.
